| It's not even a matter of eye candy, really. It's more to do with looking professional and, at the moment, the site doesn't do Eyetech justice at all. _________________

OS4 has been on sale for some time - as part of the Earlybird package

| After reviewing this months "Ask Fleecy" ,... with yet more questions about finanical and management problems and a lack of recognizable leadership...
OS4 and Amiga One sound more like a 'crap shoot' ...... raising strong doubts if it can ever complete any results, expected by the User community .....After all, they are not 're-inventing the wheel'.....it's just another OS system... |

Hi Ritty,
There's nothing to worry about. Your concerns are too early in this matter. Hyperion are making the OS and it WILL be released. This won't affect their ability to write code, nor their right to distribute it.
AOS4.0! Obstacles just make it more fun! |

Right - Eyetech putting OS4 for sale on their site is more like wishful thinking. Consider the fact that they dont even have it booting on A1 yet and that it looks as if they didnt complete the Cyberstorm Version yet... I was very dissapointed being an A4000T PPC owner...

I remember all the false starts from all other 'for sure' amiga 'producers' so it's very hard to keep the faith when each day there are more answers instead of the OS4 ............I'd like to know what is the problem .... following this soap is like reading a stroke magazine........... I only hope it's worthwhile , before the hardware is out-dated........ and who wants to change once they have a real system other then amiga? but thanks for the reply anyway... |
