See evidence here, and here.

Now, Mr. Sweeney, what do you have to say for yourself?

And I do implore you to consider your response thoroughly, your words will be used against you, as will your actions.

@mjohnson

Under advice of my lawyers, I have the following statement to read

tonight I was the victim of a brutal assualt and in the course of DEFENDING my self my gun went off accidentally hitting the thread in question, at no time was it my intention to harm any thread, and I am sure that after careful investiagation by an independant party it will be found that I acted only in self defense.

My condolonaces to the forum for the lost of its child

Thankyou

Aldur

Ah, I see.

Quite a fascinating story, too bad it has little to do with the harsh facts of reality.

Well, why don't we take a recess until tomorrow evening, while we try to gather any witnesses to this alleged course of action.

Meanwhile, any editing of your past posts in the aforementioned threads following the conception of this thread will be considered tampering with evidence, and added to your list of charges.

Thank you for your support in justice. It is good to see that people still believe in what is right. And, make no mistake about it, his wicked ways will end here!

@aldur

So, two votes against you so far. Got anything to add while we await the posting to be in session again tomorrow?

GUILTY Messieurs les jurs !

What will be the sentence ? Would he have to become a thread himself to replace the sadly lost lonely one ?

How can you possibly expect to attract any kind of support after what you have done?

I don't think I'll add any further opinion to this post, instead I'll let the evidence speak for itself.

From thread Kill this thread please, you wrote:
Quote:
I'm sorry to rebut you but I was talking to a thread that was the wifes of a cousins best friends aunts granny, who told me that she heard that the thread in question mothers sisters motherinlaw second cousin grandchild wont have anything more to do with this thread because he CHEATED on the mothers sisters motherinlaw second cousin grandchild with another threads great - great - great - grandchild half sister

This is hearsay, which seems to have shaped your opinion on the matter of threads in general.

When Karlos mentioned the "great thread massacre" your reply was:
Quote:
ooohh nasty

Which to me indicates that you found this enticing.

Later on, you express further contempt towards threads in general:
Quote:
I tell you these threads today, no respect for other threads at all

And you then end that post by stating:
Quote:
I would just like to point out to those concerned that no threads were hurt YET in the makeing of this thread.

Hmm...the plot thickens, methinks.

You then ask:
Quote:
Do you think we have gone far enough with this thread?

Obviously seeking approval to further harass (and worse, as it would turn out) that particular thread.

In that same post you add:
Quote:
its not my fault its druidpoets he always seems to post something witty when I'm in a weird mood

Now, one cannot help but wonder just what an individual like yourself would be capable of when he's in a, quote, weird mood, unquote.

Your last post in that thread (to date) states:
Quote:
OOPS theres been an accident

Why the capital letters in "OOPS", was it to emphasize that "hey, look here, it's really, really an accident, promise" or was your subconscious trying to let us know that a capital crime had been committed? Or is the capital "OOPS" supposed to be interpreted in an ironic/sarcastic manner when written in conjunction with "accident" towards the end of that sentence?
One can but wonder.

Then there's this thread, which you started, titled Kill that other thread. Yes, you read it right. Kill that other thread. This goes to show intent, no question about it.

Your third post in that thread shows the obvious signs of a person who is getting angry and frustrated due to the lack of attention, note the many occurances of the word "thread," giving us a clue as to where this might lead:
Quote:
God I wish someone would reply to my thread, don't you just hate it when you start a thread and absolutly none replies to your thread

It seems someone is obsessing about "threads," wouldn't you say? I also get the feeling that the "someone" in question is in great need of some serious venting.
Now, how would someone in a "weird mood" find a way to vent and attract the attention he so obviously desires?

And then there's the heinous deed itself, in print, available for anyone to read:
Quote:
@thread

"What are you doing put the knife down

"you were talking with HIM WEREN'T YOU!!!!!!!

"Agh that hurt

BANG

bitch

hello operator can I have the moderator please theres been an accident....................

Now, I think this pretty much says it all, don't you?

I also find it interesting that the post in question, depicting the very crime that is the topic of this thread, has been:
Quote:
Last edited by aldur on 16-Nov-2004 at 11:55 PM.
Last edited by aldur on 16-Nov-2004 at 11:54 PM.

Hmmm...I wonder what incriminating evidence has been wiped away from the public eye through these edits? You killed a thread, claiming it to be an "accident." Why would you need to edit this "accident" in question? To kill it again?
Also, the fact that you refer to your victim as a "bitch" after it has been terminated would indicate that this might be a crime of passion. This would be further supported by the many rants on your behalf regarding the alleged "infidelity" of certain other threads, which has yet to be supported by any hard evidence.
And, again, you just don't call someone a "bitch" after having accidentally killed them.

When I then charged you with the accusation of murder, you respond with:
Quote:
she attacked me with a knife see shows all cut

Crazy bitch man, i woz luckie

I want my Lawyer

First, you're very eager to show your cut. Too eager, perhaps. And that sure is a strange angle of your cut when compared to how you claim that things were played out.
Second, again you call the thread a "bitch," and a crazy one at that. Again displaying great frustration and anger.
Third, you're awfully quick to request legal representation.

I also find myself somewhat puzzled by your contradictions. First, it's an "accident." Then, it's clearly "self defence." And throughout your mindless rants, there are signs of utter contempt towards the thread in question, telling me that the termination was neither self defence nor accident.

Also, one can't help but wonder where that elusive knife you keep mentioning has gone. I haven't seen it. No one else have seen it. Have you seen it?

Then you post the following:
Quote:
I will not congratulate anyone wanting to prosecute me over self defense

So now you've decided that it really was self defence, for sure this time, and not an accident which you first claimed?

And today, you added the following:
Quote:
don't worry about me i'm fin ... zzzzZZZZZZZZZ

Screeeeeech THUD

Hey want happend opps I did it again

What's that? Reckless driving? Another case of "threadslaughter"? And, if that is the case, falling asleep at the wheel shows no intent, so if this is what has happened this time, I might be inclined to agree that we might be looking at an unfortunate accident. One that will be added to your list of charges, make no mistake about that, but an accident nevertheless.
But then one has to wonder, what do you mean with "did it again"? Are you saying that this, like the other thread termination, is an accident? So now the initial crime is back to being an accident again? Not self defence?
I think your story is changing a bit too much to be considered even remotely credible, and I'd think now would be as good a time as any to find that legal representation you have been begging for.

Now, with all this, I don't really see a need to add anything further.

There are also twelve votes at the time of this post, ten of which are convinced of your guilt.

Do you have anything to add, or would you agree that a confession would be in order?

One at a time, Mr. Maddock. One at a time. Justice will prevail.

Quote:

What happened to "turn the other thread"?

Well, I would still prefer to hear Mr. Sweeney's defence. So far, all we've gotten is fluff, spin and nonsense, I think he deserves a chance to explain himself.

Of course, our patience can't last forever though, right?

@all people and forums

As I walk into the hostile court room wearing a strange helment as I walk down the isle i hear muttering of Murder!!! glancing around I see several members of the threat druidpoet, billsey, tomazkid to name a few, I walk towards the witness stand but stop infront of my main prosecutator (mjohnson), and plant a helment on his head too. (kept that on you will need it )

"To my accusers", I cry

"I must admit the speed at which you have all turned on my even though I professed my innonence confused me greatly, but I have now had time to think my way through the actions of what happend and I must confess that YES i did kill the thread, but ask your self this why?

"I see many here today that were involved in the "kill this thread" discussion which we will call the primary thread, but my friends and I hope that I can still call you friends when this is done and dusted, but I must confess that the story does not even start there it starts a shot while ago but before getting to that lets discuss the Primary thread

As all know Druidpoet started a this thread with a view to killing not the primary thread but the actual victim thread you will notice that Druid poet has modified the original thread to remove anything that would trace back to him (mmm the keywords he programmed into me over the last few weeks) then later on in the thread he changes his mind, mmm why I ask you??? (His work done maybe) and notice that he has been very quite on the whole front (waiting for things to quieten down maybe)

lets have a look at the following threads
mindguard
or more of the same mindguard wtf
from druid poet
Quote:

I could let you know what it is about, but I'd have to kill you to keep it safe

in the first mindguard thread I have now realised that druidpoet had already gotten control of my mind and had implanted the thought that a frequency shifting algorithm would work, therfore I professed my belief that I was correct and tried to convert others to the usage of the thread and not the usage of the lead helment (tap tap),

How we have the Primary thread and look at the response of people on that thread to this one, Billsey for example can not condone Euthanasia and we all know that Billsey would not condone volience now cannot wait to do volience, this is not the billsey we all know, infact all the ones who were preaching save the thread do no volience are now running around with pitch forks.

How do I know this is all true well look at this what is that hat really made off does he know something you don't?

My friends now that my head is clear from the infulences it is quite clear to me that druid poet was infact infulencing me .

Ah Druidpoet you would have gotten away with it too if it hadn't been for those pesky kids

HEs the one you want (pointing to the empty chair that held druidpoet earlier)
