@BigD

Why buy an aos4 machine when for the price you can buy a high end pc plus $1000’s worth of software for the price!?!

@BigD

the same is true for AmigaOS

Why not use PC if you have it

It not makes sense in a logical sense... RpI is a fun platform, a cheap platform to play with because you do not need to invest much money. It is certainly not the average user who uses RpI but for fans who like to play around with exotic hardware. The perfect group who might be interested in a alternative OS, at least as one of several alternatives. Tabor (if available) is more difficult to sell, you need a relative expensive hardware for it. Buying a RPi is relative to that no problem, no high financial risk

And it is relative static hardware, on PC Aros always has the problems to offer up to date drivers, something even Linux is not able to offer

RPi is best option for something like Aros with limited developer resources. So I am very excited about it

AROS is a PC OS.

Wasn't that the "problem" with AROS all along??
