| @amigakit: the forum is populating of bots which are constantly registering.
You can see them floating around. Silently, but... only right now.
Please, consider to nominate some new moderator which can actively monitor the forum and promptly take actions.
Also consider to introduce some kind of authentication for registered new users, to minimize the risk of introducing such bots. |

I've noticed many new "joins" since approximately March 19, 2025.
"Silent" -for now- indeed. Motive unknown.

I would take it, but wouldn't do it alone, it's not a matter of time though, more in the lines of minority report, so that we wouldn't hear against the bias/unbias of moderation it would have to be more than one from multiple quadrants _________________

And you.
Two new moderators would be a great improvement. And you're quite moderated as persons/users, so I think that you could do a good job.
@amigakit, what do you think about it? It's your site and I assume that you're interested on keeping the forum alive.
As you can see, bots are continuously registering and it'll come the time when they switch from silent to active. I wouldn't reach that point and take measures before that this happens... |
