No, it has always been like that.
At least it shows that someone in Amino/kmos/amgaW/AmigaD has a sense of humour. |

| I rather think the ''Have a brand but need product?'' to be a bit of a slap in the face, honestly...
The 'Fleecy's World' is funny, even if the graphic could be sharper...

Oddly enough, that could be construed as a hack or genuine advertising. These days it's fashionable for newer companies to buy older, respected brands (off the top of my head, Atari, Commodore - all names being used by companies with zero ties to the originals). I think the ad, if it's not a hack, is saying "if you've just spent a few million for the name Coleco, you can come to us and we'll get you a bunch of content for your new Adam2008(tm)".

Or it could be saying "So have we! We have something in common! (Will you be my friend?)" _________________ "Anyone with a modicum of reasonableness may realize that it is like comparing the ride in the world to descend the stairs to catch the milk in the house."

Oh, you're just jealous because their OS is better than what you have.
(Proof: it's generally accepted that MacOS X is better than Windows, and since it's more user friendly than Linux, it's also "better" than Linux by that measure. Bill McEwen has said that OS5 is better than MacOS X, so unless you're running something other than Windows, MacOS or Linux (odds of that are quite low - I bet there's even a Linux port for the druidic leyline-powered abacus), their OS is better than what you have. QED.)

I'm running DruidOS. It won't be on sale for some hundred years or so sadly, but its has a GUI that changes shape depending on itsr mood and how you've treated it in the past. It has no need for memory or proccesors as it is a quantum OS that knows the answer to a question before you've asked and so doesn't need to be calculated. In fact, mearly the notion of having a question means you have an answer so there is no need to ask the question in the first place.
So it generaly just sits in the corner looking smug while I get on with other things. _________________ "Anyone with a modicum of reasonableness may realize that it is like comparing the ride in the world to descend the stairs to catch the milk in the house."

You mean all the pictures say "Fleecy's World"??
Yeah, that's because in Amiga Inc's world they want to "fleece" anyone that will listen, just like they did to our community!! Hmm, I try this in Firefox on my PC, and don't see anything come up. Except a URL shows in the status bar, like any other link would do.
What's it supposed to show? _________________ This posting, in it's entirety, is the opinion and/or statement of the author and does not reflect the views and/or position of this site. |

Fleecy's World! Party time! Excellent. Dude.
Actually, not really, it's not much of an Amiga site. IBrowse doesn't display any image at all. (When will the flash module be updated?) AWeb (using SWFPlayer) just displays an image with links that go nowhere.
So I say boo the Fleecy's World, it's a PC world. Does Fleecy have to rub it in my face? The rug stinks enough. |

You're sure about the spelling of GUI? Maybe you mean "GUY" and then not neccessarily in capiltals?

I'm using Firefox 2.0.0.12 on my work pc and the site displays fine. You probably have a problem with Flash Player. I have Flash Player 9,0,28,0 |

| I have a different question. I read the press release about "Amiga Hires Jamie Krueger" and there is a phrase saying "“We’re excited to have Jamie join our team,” said Bill McEwen.".
So.. to whom he said that? On mr. Jamie? Or there was another person between them that decide to write what happened in a third person perspective? lol _________________
