Thats no good. You need incentives.
One way would be set up a donation eg paypal then Personal Invite / chat to ex developers for 20 USD for 1 hour speech / tutorial.
Its an easy way for developers to get some beer money :)
Video presentation would be better :)

I don't really mind this "Special guest" mode. I think we had fun the few times we did it. But the purpose of the Sunday Chat is for Amiga people to gather and socialize for a couple hours every week. I can't say I'd be interested enough in what anyone had to say to pay them to show up. ... Unless we could get the shade of Jay to join us.  But that's just me.
For the Trivia fan: the chat did start as a way to get out Amiga news... Asha talked a reporter from the Phily Enquirer to talk with us on Compuserve during the CBM death back in 94.

Chat start time has been changed once again. We changed to an earlier start to fit in those in Europe, which didn't work out. We are now back to our old 9 pm ET start time to better accommodate those in the US who do show up for chat.
