I don't consider half baked laptop GPUs to be any good (even the most powerful SLI configured Alienware laptop gets 40% of my Desktop 3D card "3D Marks" and I don't even own an R-5800 yet...).
And what about two years from now? Can you upgrade your laptop GPU?

We need a manly machine with PCE-E 16X trust me on this one...

And if you were going to use Zorro cards like the Flyer you would also need a video slot for the Video Toaster card that the Flyer requires to work.
