LOL, if they got that much money, maybe they should consider spending some it on a webdesigner because their webpage looks like #### :)

@djrikki

I do not mean to make you angry but amigaos.net is not that great, visually or usability wise. I think the menu is weird with icons next to text, do only a text-menu instead. Pictures for menu choices does not really work on the net, there is a section about that in D.Normans usability books :)

You should have done a traditional two column or three column layout instead, makes it much easier for visitor to find information. Even a standard Wordpress installation with AmigaOS4.* themed image in header would be great, and then you can add articles as blog-posts or individual pages and you get ping, RSS-feeds etc built in = much traffic!

In the Amiga world it seems only MOS seems to understand professional looking site (and they ripped of Apple style a bit IMHO :) ).

Dont get me started on the C= USA though ;) , if they are here feel free to message me and I can come up with a solution, I can do business all over the world with Skype meetings etc thanks to the internet..

@cv643d

No offence taken everyone is entitled to their opinion, but the layout is pretty straightforward and icons are pretty common against menu items in and outside of the browser. A user would have to be pretty thick in the head not to be to navigate the site.

MorphOS is not apart of 'amiga-land' as far as I care.

Edit: Yeah the Commoscam USA website is a disgrace. ^.^

Well, it is still OT, but I think

http://www.intuitionbase.com/

is a good one. I also like the iBatch Website:

Defamation doesn't carry though to the online world in the same way as it does through to traditional media though does it?

Online I can say anything about any company or government I choose without fear of reprisal unless I live in some communist country like China. Although I bet could find someone that would argue to the contrary.

i take your assumption and raise it with

atm, they seem to be paying a yearly salary of only 12,000 USD (poverty level) to their CTO. Of course, they might have simply misplaced a decimal point.

I don't know how it works in the US but in the UK its fairly common for company directors (self employed LTD companies) to pay themselves minimum wage.
The directors (company) can award themselves a "dividend".
This dividend attacts a lower tax %age than if the director was to award himself a higher salary (higer tax %age) and pay no dividend.

A husband a wife can pay £250 to set up a LTD company with them both as directors and then use the model above. In the event of the business failing creditors can only come after the assest of the company not the individuals.

As for the $30,000,000 budget they could have won a lottery.
Euro Millions Lottery just a few weeks ago award £111,000,000 to one lucky person.

Just imagine what that person could do to support projects if they had been a hardcore member of this community.

@JurassicC

Agreed. It's just one bite of information from a larger pool.
I also posted the resignation of a board member and the quarterly reports, which are also enlightening.
By comparison, CIC is in even worse shape.

The website: http://www.commodorecorp.com/

The file which indicates the above is their website and give the symbols used for my following link:
The Asiarim the .pdf

an interesting valuation

Then we go off to here:

Commodore International Corporation Changed Its Company Name to Reunite Investments, Inc.

Where we find a different California address, than the one formerly in the Asiarim .pdf.

Personal note: I am very familiar with Laguna and El Toro. This is not a place that you are liable to find many poor people. But that alone does not speak to the health of this company.

Fairly current examination of the current players:
July, 2010

Additional note about the "new" players, since I'm not sure it has been mentioned where some of the names have come from:
Quote:
Ben van Wijhe, President and CEO of the Company.

referring to...yes...Yeahronimo Media Ventures Inc.
