| BTW we do all know that the old, let's call it OS4.1 OWB Classic, has been updated to version 3.31?
Only available by Amiupdate for some reason..
Not a massive update, but:- History: 3.31 (10.2.2011) - Fixed a crash when there is no free memory. - Speed up loading urlhistory.xml.

| @Stephen_Robinson Has the engine been updated as well?? One of my main issues with it is the memory leak caused by the engine that 3.29 and 3.30 uses. |

Doing a quick test, I'd guess the leak is still there, but hard to tell. _________________ Hate tends to make you look stupid... |

Stunzi is nowadays mosty into mountainbiking. While I rather prefer thin tires and fix frames I must admit he's doing quite impressive tours though. Check out his adventures at www.alpenzorro.de - pretty worth a read (German)._________________ My programs: via.bckrs.de MorphOS user since V0.4 (2001) |

Just checking.
If you do a cold start and run OWB and nothing -but- OWB, do you see this leak?

I've heard that before. Let's have some links please, so we can prove this once and for all.

Actually, he checks in, in between trips. He's not "gone".

How fast should I notice a drop in memory?
Perhaps more importantly, we should post version of OS being tested and version of OWB.
Added:I don't see any drop in memory here. OS4.0 and OWB 3.30 (Pukapuka) Just for reference, I'm running other apps simultaneously, including 68k.

Testing now, doesnt seem to be any drop. Should I be on a particular page on that site? _________________ If your nose runs and your feet smell, you're upside down. |

dunno. He didn't say.
Is it supposed to be extremely gradual or obvious?

Why do you act like we are lying?? There have been thread about this issue before and it was found that it was due to the engine that latest versions are using. Stop being lazy and search for that thread yourself. There is plenty of links there to sites that cause this issue.
But i guess it aint a bug and that we are all delusional...
And i am pretty damn sure i have pointed you to that thread before as well.Last edited by Tomas on 13-Feb-2011 at 02:07 PM.

Sorry you misunderstood me. I've read the threads. But we have webkit, OWB, potential file conflicts, etc. to look at for cause. By having a link we could all use, I thought we could eliminate one possible area of cause.
