Hi all glad some of you read my blog.

Just to clarify some misconceptions. The AmigaOne X5000 is and has been for sale for a while now. Amigakit are the primary supplier and they have concentrated on shipping boards to the other Amiga retailers first to spread the distribution load. Counting systems for the beta test team, 100 AmigaOS 4.1 licences have already issued for AmigaOne X5000 by Hyperion Entertainment.

Cyrus+ Boards are now available to purchase on the AmigaKit website and they are currently building up a stock of fully built AmigaOne X5000 systems for sale.

@pavlor

How hard would it have been to produce a PAL Video Toaster?

No, and if think it was in Trevor's home it might be the point at which his family say enough is enough.

@TrevorDick

While I'm sure people appreciate your writeup concerning the Hyperion annual meeting, I must say that people are more likely hoping that Hyperion will review their own annual meeting for their fans...if progress and plans were discussed...of course.

Evidently Hyperion is taking legal action against A-EON to prevent them from using their new slogan, claiming that taking aeons has been their mantra from the beginning.

Maybe I'm just tired....but could you explain a bit further or supply a link?

"taking legal action" really requires a link.

It's supposed to be a joke about the slow pace of development.

Yeah, kinda like the CD32 capaign slogan; "To be this good will take SEGA ages!"

We didn't have an arcade perfect version of Final Fight though did we And no 'Flink' didn't make up for it because that was on MegaCD too. Plus they got Earthworm Jim so I'd say the MegaCD won on games (though Guardian was amazing as an out and out 3D arcade game).
