Back to the first post in this thread. I don't understand your concern. The whole idea of having preferences, themes and options available, is so we can customize our "workspace" to fit our needs and desires. This goes for any OS that uses windows and a mouse.

Sorry to interrupt but...

Before this thread gets back on topic again and while It has been mostly opinions on things other than the original posters topic for quite a wee while now, can I take this opporchancity to ask a quick couple of questions of my own (kinda market research)...

Since I was about 7 I have been working on a hardware project I am calling "The Stick" but for the past 41 years I have been having a few wee problems with it in trying to decide on mainly what shape & colour it should be and what features it should have...

Should it be...

A) Long...

B) Circular...

C) Invisible...

D) More Nails...

or

E) All of the above...

And any thoughts on which colour to make it or should I leave that up to the end user to decide...

The stick could revolutionise something or other I reckon and hope as it's quite versatile and may well have many uses that even I haven't thunked of yet... here's are pictures of the first prototypes I made before I was born just to give you an idea of what to look forward too...

These were taken in an area of Glasgow called the Gorbals where I grew up (Norfolk Street actually) when I was just about 7...

Where else here are people going to post posts that make the original poster look like a muppet for posting a thread that should never have been posted in the first place !!!
