The total production was probably in the low thousands considering the retail price for an empty shell. |

So they are down to the last few units. |
Perhaps they could sell more, perhaps not.
I would wager that's one thing the "new" owners are looking at.

I don't think guessing will be necessary.
If sales were as low as that, Commodore Holdings (as licensor) might not restart the business or have fought so vociferously in court for their rights.
If, however, they do restart...you can assume sales were of a sufficient level to sustain a business involving not only themselves but also other necessary partners. The figures exist and I'm sure are shared amongst the serious interested parties. That's merely logical when you're talking about partnerships intended to be built on a foundation of trust.

Are you sure its limited stock? With Commodore Holdings back in business I would say anything is possible. _________________ http://www.pc-opensystems.com |

The clue is in that the vendor says "limited stock".
Considering that there was only one production that took place in May 2011 and there is still remaining stock it in 2014 I doubt Commodore Holdings will be looking to resurrect the line. |

| We have released our first Linux distribution upgrade for Commodore USA customers and enthusiasts
http://amilx.blogspot.com/2014/02/amilx-501-released.html
This has been tested on the C64x, and the Amiga Mini from Commodore USA but it can be installed on any 64 bit compatible system.

Hopefully the 10 people that bought a machine from CommodoreUSA appreciate this effort. _________________ Sent from my Quantum Computer. |

And how is ths like CUSA all over again? We develop a product, announce a product and promote a product. Thats how running a business works, you need to have a product. Unless of course you are Hyperion and Amiga Inc. and all you do day and night is announce and never release. _________________ http://www.pc-opensystems.com |
