@all

Thanks for the kind feedback.

Today I have written another blog post looking at the recently released Dir Me Up v3.02 for AmigaOS 4.1 Final Edition on my AmigaOne X1000.

Link is here:

Thanks for your great Anime Wallpaper blog, which also contains the occasional AmigaOS4 easter egg

It's easy to miss, but when he's showing his Anime Wallpapers, he subtly occasionlly uses a screenshot of AmigaOS4.1 software to show them:

Heh, I suppose an AmigaOS 4 article or two does squeeze in there occasionally!

@all

Today I wrote a new blog entry covering the September 2016 Adelaide Retro Computing event with an Amiga theme.

Special guests were Trevor Dickinson from A-EON Technology and Robert Bernardo from Fresno Commodore Users Group in the USA! Trevor gave an excellent presentation on the night and there are lots of photos!

Link is here:

Hope you enjoy it and hopefully we'll see you at our next event!

Thanks for an enable evening. It's good to see that the Amiga spirit is alive and kicking in Adelaide. It was also good to catch up with Robert Bernado again as he continues his Australian Amiga sojourn.

Great and informative review.

Is Alice Rabbit Hole only for OS3 or will it be too available for OS4 guest system ?

Thanks

Hi All,

I have written a new blog post taking a brief look at Amiga MIDI on the MIST FPGA system.

I thought it was just for Atari ST cores, but It works on the Amiga cores too!

Hi All,

This weekend I wrote two new blog posts - one is a sneak peak at the upcoming game Catacomb 3D on Amiga CD32, and the other is a quick look at the recently released CD32 game called Reshoot.

Links are here:

I was never fan of EGA graphics. However, I like fantasy setting in FPS games (Heretic is my favourite) and Catacomb3D is father of this sub-genre. A little bit too hard for slow responses of my mind/body system...

As of Reshoot, I was never fan of EGA graphics.

Reshoot indicates it needs an AGA Amiga, which seems a little... odd... given the graphics.

@pavlor

In some aspects it's a precursor to Hexen. For example it has a hub system in the middle with a puzzle to solve. Despite of being a rushed game, I prefer it to Wolfenstein 3D, which is a twich-shooter with all the hitscanning enemies. In Catacomb 3D you are put against foes with melee and projectile attacks you can avoid.

@all

I wrote a new blog post this weekend covering the latest Adelaide Retro Computing Group meeting on 14th October, with a BASIC programming theme.

We had plenty of Amiga systems running AMOS Basic programs written for the event, 2 player Amiga serial link up, CD32 running Catacomb 3D and also plenty of other systems too! Lots of photos!
