For anyone who was asking me questions about the show, I did not make it to AmiWest this year, so I have no info, but I wish I was there. I had planned on going, but just did not feel well enough to make the trip up to Sacramento and cancelled at the last minute.

I also missed the first hour of the live stream, so I hope to see a recorded version of what Trevor and A-Eon had to say this morning, posted as a link here, or at least a summary of what was said.

I am watching the live stream now with no problems.

Wish I was there with all of you at AmiWest, have a beer and a great time to all that were able to make the trip to the only remaining Amiga show in the USA.

I'd keep trying, it took several attempts to connect to the video stream using MPlayer.

Further to what asymetrix postesd;

Libre office is up and running. A screenshot was shown. They will be started a beta testing programme for it shortly.

The Frieden brothers have OS4 already running on on Cyrus.

Beta testing of the Cyrus board will begin early next year. They are looking for around 50 beta testers for this.

The first retail production run of 500 boards will is scheduled about six months after beta testing begins. Subsequent runs will be between 300-500 boards.

The Cyrus board will be available as board only and the current Nemo shall be too. This is to make it cheaper for international customers to get an A-EON system.

A-EON are looking a distribution partner in the US.

The X1000 ethernet driver is in beta and Trevor said he is now using this rather than the PCI card.

There's a new OS4 kernel with multi-core support in testing. It's called the X-Kernel.

The new classic audio card will playback most common audio formats and work either in a Zorro slot or with a clock port. It's been developed by Michael Böhmer, the software is developed by Ian Gledhill with GUI being written by Matthew Leaman.
It was to be called Prism but after spying scandal they decided to rename it. LOL.

Probably some other things I forgot.

That is good news, hopefully it will bring the cost down somewhat.

Testing as in proof of concept testing? internal testing? beta testing?

Heh, not a name you want to associate with atm.
I'd be very interested if I still owned a classic. Michael has produced some outstanding hardware in the past.

Anything definitive on RadeonHD Warp3D?
