And you’re already creeping out of scope.

I am more asking: What is the scope?

Reverse engineering Amithlon to work on a more recent Linux kernel.

5.x Xanmod kernel would be nice. ;)

@Bosanac Oooòo hark at you Missus! "You couldn't afford me anyway Mere mortals, I'm a coding god and nothing less ahahahaaaaaal!" Is what I take from your comment! Well as long as you're having fun coding and meddling who really cares what it's for or if it is likely to prove useful to anyone other than you I guess! Have fun coding gods!

I find your propensity towards paganism disturbing.

There is only one God.

@Bosanac

What is the absolute latest kernel version it currently runs on?

@Bosanac

Yep. I've looked at the existing kernel sources and diffs of the Amithlon version to the corresponding Linux version. What would be interesting is to do a three way diff between the linux-2.4.37.9 the linux-amithlon-2.4.39.7 and a newer linux kernel to get an idea of how far off the old and new change sets would be.

Well, it seems the transition of linux kernels from 2.4.x to 2.6.x made keeping the changes updated in newer kernels a fool's errand because of fundamental changes to framebuffer...
