@BigD

Personally for me it would be more advantageous to work out an agreement to be bundled with the A500 Mini lol :D

What a disappointment that Tim Jenison will not allow live streaming OR recording of his session. What is he afraid or ashamed of really?

The hotel discount code and reservation information is now live on the AmiWest web site! We're less than three months from the show, and as nice as the online streaming is, it doesn't compare to being there in-person. So get your reservations in and we'll see you in Sacramento!

There has been lately on different forums an alarming number of reports from X5000 owners about Cyrus boards not booting anymore...

Would it be possible for A-Eon to arrange In AmiWest a repair-shop for Cyrus boards? That would probably need some expert from Varisys to be present.

Could someone please forward this suggestion directly to A-Eon/Trevor? Thank you!

That would be terrific, but we'd need AmigaKit there since they do the repair work, and I don't think Matthew, et al, are attending this year.

@eliyahu

So nobody from the SACC club does repair work ?
I don't need a repair, just need to get data off my ultra wide scsi drive.
It has the irc logs from the first AmiWest, when Carl S. was on my Amiga for over
2 hours during Amirc. Plus other data that I would like to get off it.

@alanwall

There are usually folks who can do classic repairs, but the X5000 boards should be worked on by A-EON itself IMO.

@alanwall

What Filesystem is on the drive?

If classic PFS/FFS then use another Amiga with an UW adapter or 68/5-pin.

IF NGFS or some other OS4 proprietary then bring your SCSI card/drive and arrange with someone to bring their X5000?

If you can point me at compatability list for SCSI cards X5000 / AmigaOS then maybe have even more possibilities.

Couple thoughts...

If Tim Jenison isn't enough of a draw for you, how about RJ Mical? Looks like RJ will be joining us in Sacramento at AmiWest this year! Get your travel arrangements sorted and join us.

Great news everyone. We are starting to get our speaker lineup ironed out and have confirmation that RJ Mical is planning to come this year!! If you want to meet the man, the legend, you MUST plan on coming to the show!

The show is 50 days out. Lots of great things happening. As Eldee mentioned RJ Mical will be attending Amiwet in 2022. The schedule page has been updated with RJ and all our great presentors so far. In addition to the speakers we also have a new exhibitor showing several ReAmiga boards and his own C64 work. Check out amiwest.net for all the latest.

And for those who did not attend Amiga37, (and lack Xray vision) this is the board as was present on the Acube stand.

The in 2022 produced Tabor
