I would pay handsomely for a CPU slot version for my A3000. |

Yes, that too. My A4000 desperately needs it. I feel if it doesn't get a transplant soon, I might have to pull the plug.
Hang in there A4000.

Want to keep my Big Box Amiga old-school personally. The A1200 was always modded and hacked to hell so I don't feel bad transplanting a mutant board inside. How else do you get RTG modes on a wedge Amiga? _________________ "Art challenges technology. Technology inspires the art." John Lasseter, Co-Founder of Pixar Animation Studios |

Yep, or transplant into a tower and add a Mediator and Voodoo 3 or get a Blizzard PPC with BlizzardVision and melt your wedge! I know!
It was more of a, "There's no other option that is this cheap and easy for fast RTG functionality!" type comment! _________________ "Art challenges technology. Technology inspires the art." John Lasseter, Co-Founder of Pixar Animation Studios |

I hear ya. And I would feel the same if I had plenty of space. As it is, my space is constrained, and I'm trying to curtail the hoarding, so unless a machine is used it is a useless machine.

That is very true that whatever's in them Amigas need to be used. I do fear though that we are entering an era of display machines on peoples' walls or behind plexiglass in museums to never be turned on again ! _________________ "Art challenges technology. I think a real time clock will be a separate module from what I've read. _________________ "Art challenges technology. Technology inspires the art." John Lasseter, Co-Founder of Pixar Animation Studios |

Here is how an additional RTC module would connect through the CM4 adapter board.

Furthermore, there is a place for real time clock or anything else you would like to connect through I2C bus. |

Raspberry Pi Foundation is prioritising B2B customers.
AMD is shifting towards TSMC's 6 nm/5 nm/4 nm process nodes which enables Sony to obtain additional TSMC's 7nm fabrication allocation for PS5.
Both Sony's and Microsoft's game consoles have chip supply issues and they have been solved.

Amazing work! Thanks for sharing! Sorry the dimensions are slightly out, you got a resistor value wrong messing up the voltages for the NVMe drive and you placed the FPC connector for IO board the wrong way round but all things considered you basically swung for the fence and connected! This is absolutely amazing. I am at a loss of words.
At this price point, this performance and the feature set, I think you just made every other Amiga accelerator or even NG systems obsolete.
And this is just the early version of it. I can not imagine what it will look like once it becomes mature in a year or two. Well done, sir, well done.
EDIT: with this kind of performance and amount of memory it becomes feasible to run big modern applications. Now someone needs to step up and make sure the tools are all there. 68k clang for example. Last edited by V8 on 31-Jan-2023 at 01:56 AM.
