You likely know this, but perhaps casual readers do not.

TheA500 through Retro Games Ltd. did not and does not pursue use of 3.2.x. Obviously this would apply to other companies as well and will continue to limit 3.2.x exposure to our specific community.
The reason stated was quite logical. It was/is simply not needed for devices such as TheA500.
In addition it would have required paying someone to use it.

Sure. The point is more that there is renewed interest in the platform and the worst time to have such legal issues ongoing.

Absolutely.

However, we should also consider that during this time of regenerated interest we've also gone from "good" times with free money leading to rather high consumer spending to a rather bad time for such discretionary spending.
