"Commodore - the Final Years" book is my recommended reading for these topics. The book tells who fuked-up with extra detail.
David Pleasance's "Commodore the Inside Story -The Untold Tale of a Computer Giant" book has other details with A300/A600's genesis.

About? Ask TO hammer, I assume.
Well, maybe you haven't got that I'm already discussing with him.
However, I'm interested on knowing FROM YOU where this:
"You're intellectually dishonest."
could have been configured.
So, and again, care to PROVE it? Quote:

No. Quote:

It's very simple: YOU have made some statements about ME on this PUBLIC forum, and I've "simply" asked you to PROVE it.
Is it that difficult to get it? I don't think so.

Notice how they are all marked as "adjective" and not "noun"?
You specifically wrote "I'm a professional" which is on par with "I'm a tiny" or "I'm an annoying", you are lacking a noun. Maybe you wanted to say "I'm professional"? But that still doesn't say much unless there's a context that makes it clear what your profession actually is.
So I ask again, you are a professional what?Last edited by kolla on 13-Aug-2024 at 12:17 AM. Last edited by kolla on 13-Aug-2024 at 12:14 AM.

If you scroll down, there are noun uses of professional. They are in other dictionaries as well. I have heard the noun use in conversations. It is usually used in less formal situations as it doesn't mean much to say someone makes money but the profession can be implied or known.

You're intellectually dishonest about AmigaOS 3.1's WriteChunkyPixels API porting when you omitted WriteChunkyPixels API's BUG section's performance problems on Akikio-less AGA Amigas.
You're the second person who attempted to hoodwink me on this WriteChunkyPixels API._________________ Amiga 1200 (rev 1D1, KS 3.2, PiStorm32/RPi CM4/Emu68) Amiga 500 (rev 6A, ECS, KS 3.2, PiStorm/RPi 4B/Emu68) Ryzen 9 7900X, DDR5-6000 64 GB RAM, GeForce RTX 4080 16 GB |

Bots don't understand, but at least they read:
Professional is also a noun. My father wanted me to become a professional and have more stability.
Are you becoming worse than a bot?

Yes, if the implied noun is already known from context, an adjective can be used as the noun ("my car is red." "oh, I have a yellow"), but that's beside the point. When someone just says "I'm a professional" it doesn't say much. The context here is "tech industry" (I guess), and there are quite many different professions in this field, including "besserwisser".
I have no clue what cdimauro's profession is, I just know he's been involved in a game that I didn't know about until quite recently. He has clearly stated he is not a hardware engineer, so I guess not that. Professional software engineer? Professional games developer? Professional audio engineer or musician... probably not. Professional magazine writer/tech blogger? I hope not. Last edited by kolla on 13-Aug-2024 at 02:06 PM.

It already says a lot, as the above example has shown. Quote:

Sure, but now you're going to ask for details. Quote:
including "besserwisser". |
Is having a big knowledge a problem for you? Do you feel an inferiority complex? Quote:

My profile is public, and it's easy to find information about me. You can search for me on LinkedIn, for example.
"Mega" already reported it in the past, but if you problems let me know I'll share the link. Quote:

Why not? I also have a technical blog and I write technical articles: is it something which embarrasses you? |
