| @All I've try to put the components dir (THAT IS NECESSARY) of a windows installation and mozilla try to load all components presents in xpti.dat and compreg.dat.
So if the Amizilla team doesn't release this files amizilla won't work.. Last edited by afxgroup on 27-Nov-2004 at 10:57 AM.

can you tell me is there any way of piping the output to a file
mozilla-bin | output.txt

that file are 2 files that contains all the objects anc classes of XPCOM. So if we doesn't have that files and ALL other files, mozilla is only a stupid exe file.. _________________ http://www.amigasoft.net |

Can't you use command redirection? ie. mozilla-bin >ram:output.txt

Let's hope an AOS4 PPC native version of Amizilla (though FireFox as name would be better) will come up very soon. |
I agree that FireFox would be better, and it's only a 4.7MB download on Windows. But any modern browser is a good start.

I really find the names "Amizilla" and "Morphzilla" to be awful at least! I cannot second more the guy who told it in the Morphzone forum, those two names are silly!
Btw, thank you for your efforts to anyone involved with this port!

actually I disagree with you on this
think about it from a development point of view
you are a small group of people looking to port mozilla and want to find other developers that will help out now if You annonce the fact that you are going to port mozilla and are looking for developers it is easier to get amizilla into peoples heads as the name of the project, the name of the program is mozilla Well actually the name of the File is mozilla-bin the name of the project is just a convenient way of letting people know that this port is for the amiga series of computers.

In fact the core part is the most complete part. It passes almost all of the tests except for ones which don't make any sense (like largefile support and fork() tests).

I know, that is why I think it would be better to test what should work, instead of the what shouldn't work at all _________________ Best regards, hnl_dk - Henning Nielsen Lund [Denmark]

Well it size is so big beacuse it is compiled with debug code and it is staticlinked, this means many dynamic link librarys are compiled into the exe file.
@all
Furthermore when starting this beast, have a x server running to, because as long i remember it use x window system as gfx, maybe some more interesting debug output apears. |
