| 1. Do the button gradients in OS4 MUI work properly now? I'd definately buy a keyfile for that.
2. Have there been any bugfixes to make MUI more stable? (can be a little flaky at times.. not badly, but just at times)
I'm looking forwards to Update 4.

Sorry for this slight highjacking, but this question never went into channel1 at the IRc-session.
Will we see MUI4 for OS4? _________________ Site admins are people too..pooff! |

AFAIK MUI OS4 is a port from Stephan Rupprecht and others straight from the OS3X/MOS version. I could be wrong, but if there's no MUI4 from Stefan Stuntz there won't be a MUI4 for OS4!? |

Sorry for hijacking your thread too
But i have a question regarding buttons here too, maybe i'm too dumb to see the solution, but
1. Goto MUI Prefs 2. Choose "Buttons" 3. Look at the bottoms to "Radio Buttons" and to the little image on the right.
It's only ONE image you can choose there, either PRESSED or NON-PRESSED, so everytime i have a program using this Radio button (e.g. WookieChat in the prefs) i can only see this one button and NEVER know if the prefs option is ticked or not???
What am i doing wrong, what do i have to change to get this "second image when pressed" working?
Thanks for any help |

Oh yes, question 2.
I NEVER haave stability problems with MUI since the OS4 version came out (well, right at the beginning, the first versions did). Mostly because of buggy MCC's.
Make sure you drop all MCC's you are not using and get the latest ones from the appropriate sites, especially older, non updated MCC's can do much harm when holding flaws ors bugs,
hope this helps a bit |

MOS has MUI4 alpha, news here.
Seems to me that Stefan is willing to make a version for OS4, but does not have the hardware to do it on...

Uhhh, nice, i didn't know that, thanks for the link. I followed all news partially the last days due to sickness, well, then it would be a good idea to ask the author (Stefan Stuntz) or the main porter (Stephan Rupprecht) about a possible MUI4 on OS4.
The are both very nice guys with very little time (fits to all Amigans methinks)
edit: Now i see it's from JULY 2005 , completely missed that one Last edited by Raziel on 01-Jan-2006 at 07:19 AM.

I see you're discussing the Microsoft User Interface (MUI) version 4. It seems like an update has been made since then, but it appears that your focus was on its features rather than recent updates or news about MUI5/6.
Regarding screenshots, please provide them so I can assist you further with the information they contain. |
