I was dead serious when I suggested you. Having read your comments over the years I believe you are the man to bring good manners back to this site! You've got my vote. |

Would add Number 6 he would bring organization to AW, but not sure if AW would be good for Number 6?

Well, for sure, Atheist gets my vote anyday, I can just imagine how some people would react if he was made a mod
I would recommend Zerohero but he really deserves better

Bear in mind, AW Staff have no sense of humor, so the more times ya bold someone's name, the closer to reality ya push 'em. Wanna keep throwing Atheist's name out there?

| umisef (Although I doubt that he has the time to be a mod.) hatschi AMiGR CodeSmith gary_c Chris_Y jkirk polka. Toaks (Maybe not everyone there is a sensible suggestion, but that's why there will be a poll.)
P.S. I feel that it would be a really bad idea for anyone from Hyperion to be a mod - simply because we would likely loose all free speech when discussing OS4. Also, I don't dislike Rogue or Entilzha, I just think that their opinion's are too strong. A moderator should have a balanced opinion, be able to see both sides, have some sort of a sense of humour, and not be easily upset.
EDIT: Added more moderator nominations. Last edited by ChrisH on 17-Oct-2006 at 09:31 PM.

So, that gives us.... Atheist, Helgis/Helge, Seehund, Mikey_C and BBRV then?
(Note I didn't bold it! )

Well, since it seems the moderating in here is a bit lax, and since I have left I have had a few sad comments made towards me, here are some that I think would fix the situation straight away...
Seehund Ironfist falemagn Polka Opi Maybe even Pixie.
[edit] I missed Mr Calibra too!
I don't really mean that, I can't say I have to high an opinion of these people but just to show I am joking, here's a smiley

| Definitely not zerohero after the totally uncalled for personal attack he launched at me a few days ago.
If you didn't notice he was banned, thank goodness.
I nominate: gary_c and umisef. Noone here beat their well-informed and backed up posts. They have no problems sticking to facts in their posts and not just going by their personal agenda. |

Who should the next aw moderator be? This time you decide. |
Nice idea to let the members help to determine this, but what are AW staff's needs in this regard? At one time I thought a more "global coverage" by time zone was of importance in regard to moderation duties. I thought this would help to assure a mod was always on duty. (within reason of course) Are there any mods who -aren't- located between EST of the U.S. and GMT+1? If not, would it be wise to look at another part of the world as an element in making this decision? Also...shouldn't a requirement be a reliable internet connection and some sort of commitment on the part of any nominee that he can fulfill the required duties as laid out by you and your staff? Please excuse my ignorance on this topic, but I am unsure of -your- needs here.
