Surely, but does it run AmigaOS natively? |

It can run it under QEMU, and still have seven other threads running simultaneously as well. Roberto Innocenti (and a few others) has a great plan for this device.
And if it won't run OS4, we might be able to at least get a beta of MorphOS running on it, as one of the developers has expressed an interest in the board.
The thing is, this still isn't planned for production, just five prototypes. And since it's always been the plan to release the documentation for the system, it would be ashame if somebody didn't run with this. |

Ok... nice but why would Cmedia need Acube systems... Have they even sold a product the last few years (Acube) ?

Don't read too much into the word "partner" here... In contexts like this, I'd say it usually means that the customer (here Acube) has expressed an ambition to design HW using the seller's components and probably signed a letter of intent to do so, they probably have an established contact with a personal sales rep, they probably have signed necessary NDA's and thus been granted access to various HW documentation of whatever component they are planning to buy, and maybe they have even placed a first small order of the components and probably purchased some development platform/package.

Not that I'm aware of, not for quite many years now. But they are involved with the Open Source PPC laptop. And this is obviously where C-Media comes in (also more info here).Last edited by TRIPOS on 11-Aug-2019 at 04:24 PM. Last edited by TRIPOS on 11-Aug-2019 at 04:13 PM.
