I have an LP-Link Ethernet wifi bridge, obviously a rip off of TP-Link, and almost want to leave it there. But I'm wondering if the Vonnets support multiple SSID networks? Sometimes I find I wish to connect my Amigas to different networks depending on my location, at home or a club meeting. But the, ahem, LP-Link, only supports one SSID when it works. It's also picky, and I found I could only configure it with Firefox, other browsers didn't work on it. I recall contacting support and how I couldn't get it to work. They sent back a guide. Then I replied I had found the problem, it only works in Firefox, perhaps mention this in the manual. LOL. |

You can't switch SSID's with the ones I use but it's fairly quick to reset to another using the browser-based setup page and I think they are fairly browser agnostic. _________________ Fred Booth ======================================== A500, A600, A1200 c/w Mediator and 030 AmigaOne and OS4.1 Mac LCII, G4 Powermac running OSX + Amigakit and MorphOS 3.0 Dell Mini 10 Netbook running IcAros and AmigaForever+Amikit+AmigaSys 2006 Macb |
