Yes, I agree !
It fits in with the statement that 'some might not like it, but most of us will be amazed' or something stated by one of the friedens.
Also it makes sense, for hyperion to start making money and getting OS4 out into the world.
Also they said the embedded world would be a market.

As for where the puzzle fits in.... No clue whatsoever....

My real guess:

PCI-eXpress card w/ PPC that allows Dual Boot with OS4.1 and any other X86/X64 OS.

Anyway, it is for sure a high end ppc. Be it STB or console, I do not know. But I am absolutely sure that the machine is a high end ppc because I clearly remember reading Rogue when he answered someone on this forum, at least a year ago, that SAM was/is geared for the entry level market and Hyperion knows what they need for theirs system regarding the upper .. GHZ. Also, HyperionMp has several times told that ppc is the way for AmigaOS. So it won't be for sure a x86.

Now, for me, ambitious would be a ppc pci that fits on a A1200 and delivers enormous power with 68k support / a blazing fast STB ppc (and I mean FAST e.g dual 1080p movies playback) with classic h/w implementation / a very fast laptop of Amiga would come in handy, the same goes for netbook. Of course my dream Amiga would be a console styled amiga, where you could boot directly to the game or boot to the OS itself.

Apart from the above, since we already know that it will be a new hardware, I would recommend they contact Lorriano (aka TheDaddy) for a custom made case asap.

It does indeed appear that Hyperion is heading in the Apple direction. Can't say I blame them.

My current guess is that Hyperion has partnered with Freescale big-time. Various reasons why. Time will tell.

Surely if this is Hyperions MAP then it is software related unless ACube has been mentioned somewhere in any Hyperions press releases.

I am not aware of Hyperion developing hardware motherboard or otherwise.
