!-- What? Oh... well yeah. Ok, so I couldn't think of anything. -- !-- There was going to be a nice picture here called "hidden.png" but it got put up a day too soon and some clever clogs found it. --
!-- ... --
!-- Nope, that's it. You've had your lot. It's not my fault someone already found it. -->
!-- ... --
!-- No, really. You can stop reading the source code now, we're done for today. -->
!-- Don't you people have homes to go to? --
!-- ... --
!-- Seriously. We're done, see you tomorrow. Go out and have fun. Watch a movie! -->
!-- Mmmm, popcorn. -->
!-- ... --
!-- Hmm? Still here? --
!-- Oh well, as we're talking about movies, have you seen Avatar yet? I haven't. Been looking forward to it a while, but things keep getting in the way. --
!-- You know, things like this web site. It's not easy thinking up puzzles to keep you lot amused, you know! --
!-- I was going to go yesterday. Had it all planned, trip to the cinema with my girlfriend. Unfortunately she wasn't feeling too well, so we had to cancel. --
!-- I should give her a call, see how she's doing. --
!-- ... --
!-- Ah, she's feeling much better. Looks like we're on for the cinema tomorrow. That's good. -->
!-- ... --
!-- Woah! You're still here? I went and got lunch, I thought you'd be gone by the time I got back. --
!-- I have to admit I admire your persistence, but we really are done. No more puzzles. Come back tomorrow, I'll have something really meaty for you then, I promise. --
!-- ... --
!-- Oooooh Okay, you've twisted my arm. I'll think up something quick for you to puzzle over. --
!-- ... --
!-- Ok, here it comes. It's a good 'un... --
!-- Psych! Ha ha! I was kidding. --
!-- ... --
!-- Actually I was kidding about kidding. Here it is. --
!-- An age from the page of the Book of Law, -- !-- Shall come to know an Olympian foe; -- !-- Greek strife (formerly) once in, now outside, -- !-- A Lazarus snatched, to join the ride. --
!-- Too vague? Too cryptic? Well it was off the cuff, you know. I've got to be careful what I reveal. -->
!-- ... --
!-- Okay, okay. You want something more solid? Hrm. I can't really say much here. So let me just address a few rumours. No, you haven't seen this motherboard before. Yes, it's a desktop. No, the A-EON partners didn't design the Nemo board in their garages, and no it's not an evaluation board! Goodness. It was designed by a highly experienced design team to A-EON's specifications. Yes, it's high-end hardware. No, it doesn't have the number of cores you are thinking of. Whatever number you are thinking of. At least, not necessarily. No, we don't have a release date. Yes, it will be fairly soon. Yes, the software team does have functioning boards to work on already. Yes, it is the most powerful AmigaOS hardware ever. By a big margin. I did say high-end. Yes, it will come with a case. It's a computer we're making, not just a motherboard. Yes, Nemo IS just the start. --
!-- ... --
!-- What? What now? Not obscure enough? --
!-- Sigh... --
!-- Well people have been asking for some solid info. A joke can only go so far, and we will be revealing all we can currently reveal tomorrow. --
!-- Anyway, what about that thing with the number of cores? Come on! That was pretty obscure. --
!-- Look, just go back a page, look at the source there. Far more fun. Solve that charade riddle and you'll know a lot more about Xena. --
!-- And with that, I am gone. Good luck, have fun! --

New high-end hardware - shame no release date yet though - would be good to be able to purchase at the end of the PR fever. _________________ Sam |

| Sounds like an FPGA to accelerate arbitrary processes in hardware. Not a new idea but there aren't any desktop machines using it. There are tons of papers on stuff that can be sped up dramatically like this. I guess this explains why they put an FPGA on the SAM now. We'll see if I'm right in due time. It'd be interesting to see how you'd program the FPGA if I am, most tools are on Windows and Linux x86 only. _________________

| FPGA as a programmable custom chipset? Smells like something Individual computers might be involved in (an incarnation of the C=One?)
Jeri Ellsworth could be the Amigan's pinup once again perhaps? _________________ Amiga A1200, 3.1 ROMs, Blizzard 1230 MKIV 64MB & FPU, 4GB DoM SSD, Workbench 3.1 |

Ben was a Cell fan, perhaps it's something that has some multimedia units in it. Like GPU dedicated for general acceleration instead of (just) display??? _________________ - KimmoK // For freedom, for honor, for AMIGA // // Thing that I should find more time for: CC64 - 64bit Community Computer? |
