Expect some new info about their plans to be revealed on the new website. I don't know the exact date, maybe somebody from C=USA will post more on the matter.

They stole this image from this website and didn't even bother to change the filename.

You can even see how they amateurishly tried to edit out the copyright of the original image.

Yeah, funny how with their $30mln of advertising budget they can't shell out $49-$259 to buy the image instead of stealing it and shamelessly remove the copyright note, ROTFL

@X86_Amigist

Nothing new on Western front.

Like Dr Dre would say on Still Dre Riddim:

STILL using the stolen designes, no new one (just at least they say who`s it is)
STILL having no finalized products or designs
STILL not supporting even AROS

What Amiga is that beside copyright contract?

You can enjoy AROS today for free, AmiKIt great pack with your original OS 3.5 or OS 3.9 and if you wish x86 hardware ARES One is waiting for you now.
http://www.ares-shop.de/index.php?cPath=1

It`s well packed to be at software point Amiga like that CBM USA intends to do it, as far as we know now.

So I will never understand the big fuzz out there

For a moment, people believed they will do something for the community, but that moment is long gone now.

It reminds me of Serbian version of low rider,
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s5C5Zk4kobo&feature=watch_response_rev
which is more creative compared to gangsta ideas then this recycle.

So you will get a PC with Amiga name, and one in all computer with no support to repair outside of USA? Big fuzz.

just a bit more fancy names and websites. Selling apples for bananas.

At least I will have a product with Amiga logo and name, not some numbers from mathematical equations... After that, the story will begin to flow in the right direction,
you`ll see.

Vidjet ces sve...

@X86_Amigist

C64x is actually being made(prototypes) as we speak, probably. (I've seen pictures of the prototype made in plastic printer)

But please, people, try to remain civil. From both sides. Soon, the website will be launched and pretty much everything will be cleared up. Those who are not interested have other options and we can all be happy using what we want to use.

Yep, judging by the awesome Photoshop work they did on the image.. I'm seriously and anxiously waiting for a masterpiece website to be unveiled. Jokes aside, hope to be proven wrong and that their products will speak for themselves, but so far.. Oh my.

I think we just need to wait for the real web site to be operational. They paid AI money else they would never gotten the license so we know this isn't just a prank.

Didn't they remove the x from the C64 name? ;)

Either way the prototype does look nice. =]

What a fanboy! Digging up this old NON AMIGA thread to stir up more FUD are we?

ITS A PC, NOT AN AMIGA. NO AMIGA OS1-4.1 = NO AMIGA
RE-BRANDING A PC THAT SOME ONE ELSE BUILT DOES NOT QUALIFY.

Sigh, thats better. X86 is dead anyway, X64 is the way ahead move with the times Cummodore USA!

@X86_Amigist

WoW! What a satisfaction! Having the old CBM logo and NOT the BoingBall one )))

Hvala, vec vidjeno (Deja Vu)

It`s more to what`s in the book, then it`s cover, so SAM`s are good enough.
