How good is the LILLIPUT 8 Inches VGA Touch Screen LCD Monitor/FA801-NP/C/T? I might buy one and help test your driver for you if you approve me for testing. I love to help fellow Amiga developers out. _________________ Sent from my Quantum Computer. |

The Lilliput 8" is my first touchscreen, is an old RESISTIVE model. If you want to use a touch screen just to help with beta testing, I recommend getting any low-cost CAPACITIVE monitor, like the small ones from 7 to 10 inches for raspberry. They are usually 5 or 10 point multitouch. Make sure it has USB connection. Usually all modern monitors that claim not to need drivers, should work with the HID driver I wrote. This is the model I bought recently to test the HIDTouch driver: 7 Inch monitor touchscreen for raspberry pi4
If you're brave, get the touchscreen you like best. If it doesn't work, I promise we'll have it working within 2 weekends.

Multitouch events for this monitor are probably already supported by the hidtouch.usbfd driver. If there is any problem we can solve them. As for audio, there are two possibilities: 1) audio over HDMI connection 2) audio over USB For both cases, I currently don't think there are any AHI drivers on AmigaOS4. It is probably now technically possible to write an AHI driver for USB audio devices (see the recent usbaudio2 device on os4depot).

Cool, I will test this soon. I'm waiting for the monitor to come in. Thank you so much for developing this. Last edited by DiscreetFX on 25-Oct-2023 at 12:47 AM.
