@marko

As long as Natami is vapourware I understand Wikipedia desire of deleting the article. Once Natami is released and for sale it should be possible to put the article online again.

@ALL

Raffaele to the wikirescue!

I enhanced the Natami article on Wikipedia a little bit more:

1) i Changed a lot the starting preamble.

Actually Amiga is NOT an UNRELEASED Amiga clone but it is an ONGIOING project aimed at creating an Amiga clone but free of those legacy limitations.

2) I reworked the history of the project and created a "history" section of itself.

3) Created a section of the phliosophy of behind Natami that is homebrew or hobby computing project and inscribed it in the more vaste phenomenon of homebrews computing that started since the age of Altair 8800 in 1975 and continues stil nowadays thanks to projects like Natami itself.

Also I quoted the existence of modern homebrew computers that hit the market and has some notability and that are C-ONE, Minimig, Pandora console,

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pandora_console

and there is also a very tin interesting homebrew made multipurpose microcontroller (that could be enhanced to became a full featured tiny- full featured computer)... It is called Arduino.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arduino

4) I found a major reliable notability as Natami was discussed into an interesting and almost good known (here in italy) site that is Appunti Digitali and hosts blogs, articles and discussions about omputing science written by engineers, computer technicians, computer scientists, developers of software and hardware.

http://www.appuntidigitali.it/9907/native-amiga-natami-il-vero-erede-dellamiga/

I hope that this all will help the Natami article to be kept alive on Wikipedia!

@Marko

Unfortunately in the end the article was deleted as it was considered of no significance by at least three moderators, but it was a good match.

Many people voted natami to be kept, and at least the reliability of Amiga Future as a source was established by at least one power user, and another who voted to delete, stated that it is enough reliable.

If you are the user Marko75 of Wikipedia, I want to say you that I joined wikiproject Amiga. let's keep open the contacts between us.

@ChaosLord

It's still nominated for deletion, though, and the AfD was cleared out and restarted because they didn't like the way the discussion turned out after people from here and other Amiga sites started butting into it...

Currently the only votes on there are to delete.

Totally irrelevant. X1000 is also not for sale yet and it has its own wiki page.

Besides user Rilak, who started all this mess with deleting NatAmi wiki page is known from writing articles about PA SEMI processors. Sounds a bit biased to me.

I wonder who is behind that Rilak guy. He was arguing as a possesed laywer.

@Banter

Crumb is a MorphOS user, not a AmigaOS4 user.
Some one has been editing OS4 related pages as well, my guess is that its the wiki trolls.

Arduino is cool, got a chance to play with one last year.
It has different sensors, which can be programmed as you wish.

@Banter @Crumb

The criterion for inclusion in Wikipedia isn't whether something is vapour or not.

The criterion is notability. To be considered notable, something must have got coverage in reliable third party websites and magazines. So for an Amiga project to be deemed notable, it would have to attract the attention of people outside the community and get coverage that you can cite in the article.

There's lots of vapourware in Wikipedia, for the simple reason that some vapourware is notable.

I think the X1000 project arguably is notable enough. At least it got coverage from outside the Amiga community that you can point to.
