3D test CPU only

Warp3D software emulation (CPU intensive) for those that don`t have 3D drivers - e.g, current only hope for SAM 460 and X1000 users to run Blender and 3D games.
http://aminet.net/package/driver/video/Wazp3D

Well, this test would be rudimentary, since no GFX card will be used and CPU will be abused for everything.

Download
http://os4depot.net/?function=showfile&file=graphics/raytrace/blender.lha

Read
http://www.broad.ology.org.uk/amiga/blender/

Run it now and later when 3D driver gets real! - Compare and let us know
http://www.eofw.org/bench/

That would be all my ishes for now!

Big thanks!

@djrikki

Benchmark is to compare numbers to what we do have and get something that is not just feelin` Surely some X1000 utilizing tests and more matureOS would do that numbers grow!

Yes I!

Get us some screenshots
http://os4depot.net/index.php?function=showfile&file=graphics/misc/sgrab.lha

(You can upload them to AW.net too! Rikky can even get them maybe to official web site and AmigaNG wants them too http://www.vincentperkins.com/AmigaNG/ )

and this one is a video capturer
http://os4depot.net/index.php?function=showfile&file=video/record/srec.lha

Abuse it, its slow on other machines

This dude would love you for giving away some video
http://www.youtube.com/user/amigang/featured

and I would love to put one pon my channel (in signature)

It would be very interesting to check what is the PA6T processor performance.

Can You run this test:

http://amigadev.free.fr/powerpc/nbench.html

http://amigadev.free.fr/powerpc/nbench_os4.lha

And show us the results?

The way you guys are going I'm just going to be running benchmarks all night!

Can I play Turrican II first?

Yes - yes I want to play Turrican II on my PA Semi X1000 - it's tradition for new Amigas in our house and I see no reason to change it now.

I think playing Turrican is a pretty nice choice for the inauguration of that machine. Have fun.

If you want to demonstrate the power of the X1000 with UAE just try a big AGA demo, what's the sense to show Turrican ?

Turrican will works just fine with E-UAE on a small Sam440 !
Sure still fun to play but here we are talking about a video to show, just an impressive demo to show the X1000 potential ...

If you like to make video, then maybe you can run a 720p video, and do some rendering in blender, and maybe you take spin whit MUI-OWB on some heavy pages.

@NutsAboutAmiga

have fun looking for a native demo.
in the meantime i think there were enough benchmarks os4 crowd was massively using to compare their hardware in the last years. hope these benchmarks still apply and we can have comparable results to say sam, pegasos or a1 series.
