@Spectre660

Yes im registered hd driver since the First release :)

About the 7750hd
ti can see all the starup write on the monitor , the sam460 checking device etc. I see the slb2 and the loading of the kickstart modules after this ... Nothing there isn't the usual amigaos 4.1 loading screen and no wb :(...
I will try with this 0.55 release and after report.

My video card is a sapphire 7750 hd 2gb ddr3
Now I using a 4650 ultimate 512mb ddr3

@tlosm

Try setting the screen mode to 1024x768 and saving using your 4650.
Then replace with the 7750 and restart see if you get workbench.

Ths Sam460ex is picky about the type of pci cards connected to pcie to pci adapters.
Sata and video cards do not seem to work.machine wont boot . Sound cards do.

Btw, there are all sorts of ways of increasing the amount of slots:

These could be useful for SAM460:
PCIe to 2xPCI and 2xPCIe: http://www.virtuavia.eu/shop/pcie-2-x-pci-2-x-pcie-expansion-atx-kit.html
PCIe to 4xPCI: http://www.virtuavia.eu/shop/pcie-4-x-pci-expansion-atx-kit.html
PCIe to 2xPCI: http://www.virtuavia.eu/shop/pci-e-express-x1-to-dual-pci-usb-3.0-extension-cable.html
PCIe to 1x low-profile PCI: http://www.virtuavia.eu/shop/pci-express-to-pci-adapter-p29855.html

Example: you want more drives so you can't use the onboard SATA, these will give you PCI (and even more PCIe) slots for SATA controllers instead.

for the 4-slot versions you obviously need a spare ATX case, for the 2-slot version you need spare slots in your existing case, the 1-slot version is inline for low-profile cards (opposite of the one we were discussing).

Oh, really? Can't see any logical reason why, as long as interrupts are properly rotated in both UBoot and hardware. This is where the AmigaOne was struggling, as noone knew enough about UBoot to get the interrupt table right when there were bridges in the system.

Do the cards look right in a PCI scan, UBoot/Linux/AmigaOS?

I have a HD6770 that wont work at all in my Sam460ex.
The same card will work on my Sam440ep-flex with PCI to PCIE bridge with a
screen mode up to 1440x900. All other wrking cards with this combo do full 1920x1024 .
As I cant even get Uboot on Sam460ex with the card attached I cant do any PCI scans etc.
Have reported to Max at Acube .
Also my current card ,a HD6670, works perfectly on the SAm flex setup. on the Sam460ex it will not show Uboot using the DVI output.I have to have both a HDMI and VGA via a DVI to VGA adapter connected to the same monitor to get the Uboot display.

last thing that you can try is to boot with your monitor turned off. Listen for the boot
jingle or wait a minute or so then turn it on. I have some cards that will only work if you do this or use a DVI to VGA adapter with my Sam machines.

Any Luck ?

A sapphire 7750 model is listed in the tested cards for the Radeon HD driver.
If you get Uboot display then you should be able to get workbench.
Only 2 6xxx model cards that wont show uboot have not worked for me on the Sam460ex.

Ah I just checked your GfxBench Score and everything should be in order for the 7750.
So the problem could be the Model or the Motherboard or the driver.
I was looking to get an XFX model of the 7750 myself but I will wait until someone gets one to work or we get a new Uboot for the Sam460ex.

My best Sam440ep-Flex results.
This is a single slot card and is in my Sam460ex now.
I am sorry that I did not get a second card like this when I had the chance.

http://hdrlab.org.nz/benchmark/gfxbench2d/OS/AmigaOS/Result/1069

Results from the same card in the Sam460ex with the latest driver .

http://hdrlab.org.nz/benchmark/gfxbench2d/OS/AmigaOS/Result/1183

Results from the current card in my Sam440-ep-Flex with the latest driver .

AmigaKit sell this model and vouch for its compatability .

I have asked Hans to have a look at this thread regarding your HD7750 if he has time.

ok thanks mate i wrote in his blog too 10 days ago.
Im thinking to buy the GDR5 version because for sure is more faster plus after the last aeon news they wrote the 5xxx and 6xxx will have warp3d for sure

because you are friend of hans write to him i tested the HD graphic on the amiga 4000D and gave speed up to the classic too :)
My 4000 with radeon 9200 is more faster of the amiga one G3 and the pegasos I g3 in graphic 2d rendering :D

The gddr5 of the Radeon 6570 will probably block your PCI slot.
http://www.sapphiretech.com/presentation/product/?cid=1&gid=3&sgid=1087&pid=1170&psn=&lid=1&leg=0

The 6670 gddr5 model is single slot and faster .

I see your post on Hans Site.
You can also post about what does not work like the 7750.
Probably the best way to get some feed back from him.

@Spectre660

thanks for the links for the videocards
but the 7750 is dual slot too and with small mods becamed single slot.

I asked about this thing
http://www.ebay.it/itm/PCIE-PCI-Express-PCI-E-X1-X4-X8-X16-To-PCI-Bus-Riser-Card-Adapter-Converter-New-/330771562231?pt=AU_Components&hash=item4d03857ef7#ht_4256wt_910

On an italian forum ... Massimiliano M3X speak about a sure compatibility with a riser with Asmedia Chipset..
I think with this riser i will not have problem with the dual slots video boards ...
or i can buy a Pci Express riser too...

About the feedback of hans what is needed more can make me an example ... tomorrow i will post all needed

Luigi
