At least it did not work out well at a.org where moderators are busy to drive away customers from a-eonkit. Eventually any OS4 related talk at a.org has escaped away. Not even Amiwest get mention there. Last edited by itix on 26-Oct-2014 at 01:08 AM. Last edited by itix on 26-Oct-2014 at 01:06 AM.

It was posted but nobody comment. There is good reason to not comment and therefore such threads vanish quickly off from the frontpage to oblivion.

It's not just the AW site logo you know.

| Hmm, I don't know if this is a good thing or not. I mean, Trevor is a good guy and I'm sure he has the best intentions in mind, but for all intents and purposes AW is now an extension of A-EON's PR department. If the next piece of hardware they release is controversial in any way (price, choice of CPU, whatever) and people here start discussing it, how long before Trevor's PR guy (with or without his knowledge) gets the site admins on the phone and threads start getting deleted? Maybe I'm turning into a libertarian in my old age, but I prefer these discussion sites to remain independent.

| Doesn't everyone realize that A-EON and Hyperion are secretly working for Microsoft and the United States NSA? They will not allow separatists and are taking control of the operating system, hardware, and websites, then will shut everything down at the same time.

| Since when does Matthew Leaman work for AEON? Does this mean Amigakit is owned by AEON as well? _________________ Men who have girlies in their avatars are Girliemen! |

That I actually see as a good thing. Amigakit already has a good rep and international sales infrastructure, so A-EON gets a proven distributor and we get to pay lower prices because there is no longer a middleman. |

You don't buy an entire site just for this: you license the logo.

| While I have nothing personal against Trevor or his company, I am wary of the fact that they seem to be only interested in creating hardware which is affordable for a handful of people. By now I would have expected them to announce a more affordable system, but they haven't and probably never will. So, considering this "elitist" way of doing things, I am not extremely happy if every Amiga forum is taken over. Just my two cents. I hope I am mistaken.
How much before we will have Trevor's face pasted on every forum front page Last edited by Everblue on 26-Oct-2014 at 08:07 AM.
