Hasn't Hyperion gone bankrupt? surely that must have an effect on ageements for holding on to licences and IP.
Or is this over each comany releasing their own 1.3 software that conflicts or something.

No I doubt it, turboprint is/was on a different level with 24bit colour support far better printer drivers (due to having access to hp code under NDA and such).
