Opened correctly here with winrar on a windows machine, problem is that the resulting file is an ELF exe that does the update on a real machine.
You should find a way to extract only the firmware contained inside it. |

Zoltan make a good manual and info about his project available at this link https://osdn.net/projects/qmiga/wiki/SubprojectPegasos2 __ but so far they haven't replied to any queries about that. Until then, a ROM image may be needed for some guests (notably AmigaOS4) which can be obtained by dumping it from your Pegasos II or maybe finding the firmware update called up050404 that was once downloadable from bPlan but not there any more. The ROM image can be extracted from that update with extract_rom_from_updater. __
He made a firmware extractor from the bplan update " up050404" ... this upadate is not any more available on blan web site.
Zoltan, wrote to me he explain the firmare is not necessary for make linux and morphos boot on the Virtual Peggy ... but i will like to test the machine with the real firmware. _________________ I love Amiga and new hope by AmigaNG A 500 + ; CDTV; CD32; PowerMac G5 Quad 8GB,SSD,SSHD,7800gtx,Radeon R5 230 2GB; MacBook Pro Retina I7 2.3ghz; #nomorea-eoninmyhome |

It would be nice if you could check it out on your PowerMac G5 Quad. I really would like to know if it works when KVM is enabled as it will make the emulated system usable. |
