Hi,

I recently purchased from Amigakit the ACA1233n 40MHz 68030 accelerator 128MB RAM with RTC module. I have added an FPU too.

A quick review can be summarised in 3 words - Stable, Fast, Compatible

Stable*: Even with the FPU installed an burst mode on I haven't seen the Amiga crash yet.

Fast: Jens' claim about it being as quick as higher clock speed Accelerators because of its efficient burst is true - it is as fast as the Blizzard 1230 50MHz in benchmark and real world tests.

Compatible: Apps, games and demos, I couldn't find one thing installed on my hard drive that caused an issue. Some accelerators in the past have had trouble with demos - this one has no such problem and runs some hefty demos very well indeed.

I think the accelerators made by Individual Computers are often not given the Blizzard status they deserve. Jens has managed to build some very good hardware with some groundbreaking features. This one for instance can do dynamic clock speed based on CPU load! Incredible.

* My A1200 has had timing fixes, is recapped, has a high end ATX PSU and is connected to a UPS for smooth, reliable power and I have a vented trapdoor cover so maximum chance of being stable.

@A1200

Hmm, I thought that indeed some artistic shots of the card between the legs of ladies would be linked but it seems that the title of the thread is misleading.

These are regular shots of a great card!
