Hi, I need help refreshing my menory.

I am editing a contents page in pagestream that I have previously Created

It is a kanji dctionary, and I have the kanji as dr2d files Throughout the dictionary.

On the contents page I have the chapter name in English followed by the name in kanji. I can’t work out how I have done it in the past.

Insert graphic only asks for the external graphic file, which doesntbwork.
Within the body of the dictionary, that is what I want because the dr2d file of the kanji is exactly what I want. But then it is placed beside the description.

On the contents page I have inserted them in to the line of text.

I think I used to have to create the name I was adding in, and scale to the height of the text line, and then insert it in to the line.

At the moment I cannot remember how I managed it.

Any help much appreciated.

@Swoop

[Solved}

1) text has to be inside a text frame

2) place dr2d files on the page outside the text frame

3) align .dr2d graphics and scale to size.

4) group them together and copy as a group.

5) change to text mode, and place cursor at the insertion point.

6) use amiga-V to paste, and add a space after the inserted graphic

7) delete the .dr2d files you copied, to be able to paste.

The only problem is the line will be spaced to the height of the inserted graphic
So you need to get that right, ideally before insertion.

[/solved]

I have had a native japanese speaker check my dictionary, and mark it for gramatical errors. Also i have not neccesarily used the most modern terminology
so I have to adjust parts of it.

Just for info - there are 70 chapters and 380 pages currently in my dictinary.
So well done to pagestream.
