@Samurai_Crow

I don't know what vaccines you take every year but they don't make you "jusy as sick and just as long."

That sir is the kind of made up bullshit that makes other ignorant people not want to take the vaccine.

Stop spreading crap as you are the problem

Vaccines are not perfect but they DO work

Flu shots don't. I don't know about Covid shots but several people died during trials of its vaccines.

44000 trial patients of which 6 died. 4 of them had placebo.

But yeah, conspiracy theories are more entertaining than actually checking the facts.

Like 5G chip you get in vaccine.

There's simply too much bovine in a vaccine coming from Oxford...

Several people also died during trials of AmigaOS 3.1.4.

@kolla

Several people died in between the Eyetech/Teron/Mai Logic AmigaOne machines being released and AmigaOS being lauched for those machines!

Conclusion: The passage of time kills people! Ultimately, the only known cure for death is giving your life to Jesus (who rose again and hence defeated death which only entered the world in the first place due to humanity's sin and rebellion).

Result: Forgiveness, reconcilliation with God and eternal life in heaven.

The vaccine is good but Jesus is better!

@Skateman

Nope, although I'll treat myself to an end of week beer shortly

I think the sanest and most sobering learning point to come out of this pandemic is that life is fragile, our economies are fragile, even our health services are fragile (most of the knee jerk reactions from politicians has been in regards to projections showing the health sector getting overwhelmed by Covid-19 patients). With all of that said it goes without saying that we should be looking at the bigger picture i.e. life after death, the meaning of life and what is the purpose of life.

Summary: We're all going to die the question is just when! What does that mean in regards to how you want to live your life?

Some common responses:
"The one with the most toys at the end wins?"
"Live each day like it's your last?"
"Acknowledge your creator, repent and live your life for Him?"

... these are all world views that I've come across and the people that live their lives by them are all sober but not necessarily seeing the big picture. Food for thought!

Better to get busy living to serve God and begin to preparing to die (whatever the time frame) and get to grips with what's to come. That's not at at all bleak, just a fact of life! Most people seem to act like they'll live forever on planet Earth but the pandemic shows us how futile that way of perceiving the world is! I'd prescribe the third response from the list above is the only 'sober' response to a fragile and dying world.

You win the Internet today.

#2...

Apparently a debate about a vaccine belongs in the hardware section and on the front page of the site.
Who knew!??

I tested positive in Dec. had to close our shop and go into isolation but only had ultra mild flu symptoms for one day (peaked on Christmas evening).

I fully understand people who fear it. I have a father at 75yo and mom 73yo (just cured from cancer and still weak) and I'd like to keep them longer but am not certain how they would respond to getting it. Hopefully they are next in line for the vaccine.

So please ramp up production of that damn vaccine, can't wait for summer for our whole population (Denmark) to get it.

Also I am so tired of lockdown and sitting here with no income at all.
2020 was really really really hard for us as we organise and also go to shows/fairs to sell our stuff and 2021 started even worse with lockdown from xmas to 17th of january.

And we're told to expect that lockdown will be extended. Some say until Feb others expect March
