| The problem with American 'news' is that in 2012 Barry Soetoro revised the Smith-Mundt Act which now means that since 2012, American 'news' media targeted at American audiences can contain propaganda. Previously - it was only news targeted to foreign audiences that could contain propaganda.
It you believe Trump said to drink bleach, you are a victim of such propaganda. All American 'news' is 'half-truths'.
Anyway - who won the Vamp? |

He didn't say "drink bleach", he suggested injecting disinfectant, and that it would be interesting to check that._________________ B5D6A1D019D5D45BCC56F4782AC220D8B3E2A6CC |

I watched the entire speech. It was an analogy that the media twisted as literal. |

I've watched the speech and I got no analogy from it, he seemed quite literal. He really thought injecting disinfectant into a human body was an interesting path to explore as a method of therapy.

It was as ill advised throw away comment as were 99% of his tweets (when he wasn’t banned). Encouraging people to inject bleach, inciting violence at Capitol Hill and demanding a spot in Home Alone 2 are all normal day activities for him.
... and I still think Trump was probably better for the average American than Biden will turn out to be
It was definitely interesting to see the US being run by a speak first and apologise later CEO persona rather than super slick two faced politician who says he’s a Catholic while also promoting the redefinition of marriage and signing off on liberal abortion law? Politicians are all compromised hypocrites in their own way it’s just Trump refreshingly was quite an open book! Mike Pence did a good enough job of reigning Trump in when it was needed right up until the call of sedition! Last edited by BigD on 14-Feb-2021 at 11:54 PM.

| I am not a fan of any politician except maybe for Ron and Rand Paul. in other words - liberal with small government that stays out of people's lives.
So when I talk about Trump - I'm not a "Trumper". Politics is full of propaganda since Barry Soetoro, aka Obomber (killed more people with drones than anyone else) revised the Smith-Mundt Act that was around since about 1957.
If you don't do your research on that, you don't understand that what you are presented with from news media you are supposed to trust isn't trust-worthy.
Again, I watched the speech. If you are a leftist (I don't call them 'liberal' since we are all liberal at heart) you will believe the media. If you have common sense - you see it as an analogy.
As a rule, I hate politics and the only good politician is a daed one...just like lawyers...and in some cases, mechanics.
So you can put on your rose-colored goggles and believe what you want.
What I liked about Trump: -didn't start any wars despite the 2016 propaganda that he would bring on WW3 -isn't really a politician and calls out the propaganda/fake news for what it is -used our own oil resources to keep gas prices down
What I disliked about Trump: -he still catered to the military industrial complex and increased the military spending -he still bowed down to the Federal Reserve
I have yet to find anything redeeming about the 'current' administration or the one prior to Trump. Gas prices have gone up 25% and continue to rise since he decided to kill 16,000 jobs at the Keystone pipeline. Free speech is gone. We have more wars and taxes coming our way. Let's all celebrate!
Oh and I haven't voted since 2000. Last edited by Lou on 15-Feb-2021 at 04:40 PM. Last edited by Lou on 15-Feb-2021 at 04:39 PM.

| @Lou You shouldn't blindly believe all the BS that your best buddy tells you. Then again, you seem to be pretty good at twisting reality on your own, just like a true Trumpist would, so nevermind. Please continue not to vote, thanks. |

It's all quite pathetic. Our government needs a big reset. The whole system does. |
The system is fine. It's not perfect, but better than most. And the problem isn't really politicians. Good people run for office, but they're usually culled out early in the primary process. The real problem is voters. They're mostly uninformed and gullible, susceptible to demagoguery, and generally not too bright.
And on that cheery note: Happy Presidents Day! Last edited by bison on 15-Feb-2021 at 06:12 PM.

Of course abortion should be legal. You don't want anyone to tell you to wear a mask (even if it's for your own health, not even talking about other people's) but you want to tell all women what they can or can't do... So ludicrous... So typical... _________________ Tygre Scientific Progress Goes Boing! |

The point was (whatever your view on abortion) that Biden like almost ALL politicians is a hypocrite! He says he's a Roman Catholic and then rejects the sanctity of life and the Biblical definition of marriage. You're willing to tolerate this hypocracy because you'll likely see the law changed in this instance. You're happy until he's two faced and inconsistant regarding an issue that you care about. You wait and see! He'll let you down eventually and generally men that don't stand for anything will do so sooner rather than later...

The first clause in the Bill of Rights states that “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion.”
He's just law abiding and not a Big D forcing his religion to others.

And if you bother to scroll down on her twitter account to January third, you can find exactly those tweets - so what is your point? _________________ B5D6A1D019D5D45BCC56F4782AC220D8B3E2A6CC |
