Hello

I would like to present an overview of all active developments that have something to do with "Amiga" on a website.

But first I would like to clarify: Does something like this already exist?

Thanks a lot

Birbo

I find to be a pretty good site that give the odd good update of whats happing in the Amiga world, you then got the Amiga news sites like this one, best I feel is

https://www.amiga-news.de/en/
that covers most big news stories,

but I guess you talking more of software in development, I dont really see that many that covers that in one place, there some pretty good blogs that kind of track some of it, these are the one i usally have a quick look though now and again.

@kolla

I'll ask about that in diffrent forums or read Amiga Magazines, news, etc.

I'm not saying that it will be complete, but give an overview how the diffrent directions look like.

@amigang

Thank you very much.

http://www.amigasource.com/ looks ok, but I couldn't find the Vampire Cards or Minimig.

Is it still active?

@MEGA_RJ_MICAL

?

My goal is to show a structured overview of the different areas of "Amiga" Developments.

I've never seen anything like that. That's why I would like to do it.

But if someone else already did that - I don't have to do it, right?

@Birbo
Thanks for dropping by! I PROMISE I am working to add all my links to the main database. Once completed it will be very easy to search for a topic or keyword. For now let CTRL-F and the different year pages add to your search results along with the current search function.

At some point in the near future I'm going to add another table box with links to all the currently available systems, both official (X1000, A1222, etc) and the new 'homebrew' systems (MiSTer, Vampire, Raspberry Pi , A500, etc) so you can easily see all the available options in one place and shop for the one you want.

@AmigaNG
Also thanks for dropping by. I've been so busy the past month+ I missed the 20th anniversary of the site. Go figure... I really TRY to keep tabs the legal happenings but as you know it always seems to just 'trickle out'. And to be honest http://www.amiga-news.de is much better at it than I will ever be

@all
60+ new links added today for you browsing pleasure

Side note... If there are any web programmers who would like to make a little extra cash and help me add a few features to the site PLEASE contact me webmaster@amigasource.com?subject=website_help and I PROMISE to make it worth your while!

@AmigaSource

Hi

I would be happy to support you, both in the area of programming, as well as with content. And I'll do it for free - no need to make extra cash at the moment.

I will contact you at the given e-mail address.

Thank you

@MEGA_RJ_MICAL

And you think writing everything in capital letters is the Amiga attitude?

@klx300r
Thank you! While the site has never fully gone away, the main issue is I never completely finished it.

Currently I'm sitting on ~3500+ links I have been waiting to add to the main database plus revalidate the existing 1500+ links. This, along with adding a few more features to allow visitors the ability to add, edit, move links into different categories and updating my admin portal, will allow the site to be a helpful and productive resource for all Amiga users for many years to come!

Unfortunately over the past 20 years quite a few websites are LONG GONE but thank goodness for Archive.org. If it wasn't for them much of the early Amiga web history would have been lost forever!

Keep stopping by. I promise more frequent updates!

Fingers crossed!
