@RobertB

Camilla seems like a cool coder! Nice that she chooses to code on Amiga!

Just finished with the Friday DevCon. First session of the day was George Sokianos speaking about the latest SDK for AmigaOS 4.1. Second session was Sam Crow talking about Hollywood.

Last night at the dinner keynote, Tim Jenison spoke about Newtek and the Video Toaster. His presentation was made even more exciting when surprise guest speaker Kiki Stockhammer talked about her life, what it was like to work at Newtek, and those heady days of her promoting the Video Toaster at various shows. Afterwards, she gave away photos she had brought and even autographed them for the attendees!

Very exciting!

Any chance you could make a video of the X5000 running multicore?

@number6

That's more of a report on just A-EON's stuff. In the past there's been a high accent on A-EON's announcements at the show, and most of the rest gets ignored.

I hope they'll cover all of the presentations and some of the stuff on the show floor too. Looking at the schedule, there's a lot of interesting stuff. I'm skimming through the recordings right now.

Hans

Ack! Too late! By the time I saw this message, it was the end of the show. I was taking down my video equipment, and Steven Solie was disassembling his.

Another year, another show. We all had a terrific time this weekend, and I can only encourage those of you who are mostly 'online' Amigans these days to consider attending next year's AmiWest, Amiga38, or whatever get-together you can. It's always time well spent.

A big thanks this year to the SACC crew and Bill Borsari for making the show happen, and to the Amigans -- famous and otherwise -- who were there.
