No it doesn’t, it means the language of the Franks… that some Frankish tribes later gave name to the country we know as France with a langauge known as French doesn’t mean that Franks spoke French - they were Germannic tribes. Think Frankfurt, not France :) |
Well if you want to get that finicky, it's also worth pointing out to Matt that the "Norman French" that English gets so many words from (due to their colonisation of Blighty) isn't French either. ;) |

Yep. The Apollo cards are less of a Vampire and more of a Re-animator. _________________ All the way, with 68k |

There's Buffee, the Vampire slayer.
PiStorm follows Phase 5's Blizzard and DCE's Typhoon extreme weather names. _________________ Amiga 1200 (rev 1D1, KS 3.2, PiStorm32/RPi CM4/Emu68) Amiga 500 (rev 6A, ECS, KS 3.2, PiStorm/RPi 4B/Emu68) Ryzen 9 7900X, DDR5-6000 64 GB RAM, GeForce RTX 4080 16 GB |

What's the main difference between Buffee and Pistorm? Kind of JIT? |
Buffees are custom boards with CPU and RAM onboard - PiStorm uses an attached Raspberry Pi
Buffees use Nonarkitten's own PJIT emulation without a host OS - PiStorm uses either Musashi on Linux, or Emu68 without a host OS on Pi, which to use depends on your needs
Buffee targets at possibly replacing 68000 chips anywhere - PiStorm targets Amiga
Buffee is just CPU and RAM - PiStorm also offer I/O, RTG etc. via the Pi

SoC's interference is different.
JIT approach is different. _________________ Amiga 1200 (rev 1D1, KS 3.2, PiStorm32/RPi CM4/Emu68) Amiga 500 (rev 6A, ECS, KS 3.2, PiStorm/RPi 4B/Emu68) Ryzen 9 7900X, DDR5-6000 64 GB RAM, GeForce RTX 4080 16 GB |

I think the cheese shop sketch may be more appropriate. Just swap cheese for 64-bit instruction documentation... Last edited by Karlos on 26-Nov-2022 at 09:14 PM.
