Youtube processing to HD,

The video content is good (nice technical stuff), however the quality isn't, unfortunately, despite being "HD": it looks more like an old video tape.

Trying to read the text on monitors is very difficult sometimes.

Maybe it's time to get a video recording device?

Heh, videotape at 240 lines of resolution?! Or 280 lines of resolution if I went to SuperBeta or S-VHS? Nah.

I film off the hotel's projection screen.

Uh, the Sony I use is a video-recording device.

If you mean a direct feed from the presenter's computer into an off-camera device which saves the video, that would be more complicated to do. I would have to use a video switcher (expensive) and get access to the presenter's computer (troublesome to set up). That also means one person to run the camera and another person (director?) to operate the switcher. Far too complex for our simple Devcon.

Can't do the job of multiple production people,

P.S. Yeah, it would be nice to have several cameras, camerapersons to run the cameras, a director, a sound technician, a gaffer, an editor... Whoa, like Hollywood!

Uh, the Sony I use is a video-recording device.

Then the problem should be the projection screen. An example: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wuDKH-Dxifk&t=2280s

That was an idea, yes.

Understood. Thanks, anyway!

With 9 people (If I've counted right) in the room maybe it's possible.
