I like playing video games (not only on Amiga) and it is a major part of my computing experience. Although I played many games, there are some that really took plenty of my free time:

Civilization (not even counting hours playing it on my 486SX laptop during my university study)
Populous 2
Lemmings (I forced myself to stop plaing this one, because I saw these small lemmings even outside of the computer screen!)

As of Amiga NG games:
Baldur's Gate 2
Jedi Outcast (takes plenty of time, because I'm so bad at this kind of games, but really like it...)
Heretic and Heretic 2 (similar to Jedi Outcast, only shorter and somewhat easier)

And yours?

Deluxe Galaga (RIP Edgar Vigdal)
Dungeon Master (3 commercial versions and Meynaf's versions)
D&D Gold Box games
Chaos Engine
Pinball Dreams and Fantasies
Lotus Turbo Challenge 2
Frontier Elite 2
F/A-18 Interceptor
Stunt Car Racer

Classic Amiga growing up the games I likly played the longest was Theme Park, Sim City 2000 and microprose Grand Prix, few years later I would say Napalm and Foundations took a lot of time.

Next Gen
Scummvm was likly my most used app, don’t know why I never really bothered to check it out on my Pc and go back to some of the classic adventure games. But I did on os4, luckily it a pretty good and stable port. Space quest series, flight of Amazon queen.

Hard to tell which single player games I spent most of the time back then in the A500 times, but since then I've spent time with multiplayer games more than anything else in the past. And generally games that have replay value.

The Settlers - must be the most played game, it takes a whole day in two player split screen always. And we have played it regularly through the all years.

Worms DC - nothing came of studies when we just played this game...

Napalm - spent countless weekends with my friend with this in two player serial link-up.

HBMonopoly - veeery time consuming entertainment with max 8 players online games.

dynAMIte - the countless nights we played this online at non-public stage before it got laggy with the public releases.

Nitro - we just have to play this through as two-player game time to time.

Super Cars 2 - same for this...

Stunt Car Racer - hotlap compos in Lemon/EAB have taken quite much time, and it's a fun game in the serial link-up too.

(Super) Skidmarks - loved to play this since the first cover disk demo, and absolutely fun in max 8 players multiplayer and in hotlap compos.

OpenTTD (on MorphOS) - similar experience to The Settlers in the multiplayer network mode.

Superfrog - only single player game that comes in my mind now... completed it in the A500 times, but since then several times in the Lemon/EAB compo. One game takes about 4 hours when exploring all secrets etc.. and it's just fun to play it through time to time.

SWIV - maybe I'll have to mention this one too... completed it in the two players mode back in the floppy times, but every now and then nowadays too. But maybe in the second category still...

I guess those are the most played games here, even though I could pick up some other games too, but let's leave it for now. There have been some time consuming adventure etc. games, but as their replay value is quite small, there probably isn't anything else that I'd played through tens of times to get on the list.

My ones on classic was:
Lion Heart - the best, psyco-swamp-forest style of scary stories. Probably the one which i will point out when one ask which best uniq amiga game are.

Chaos Engine (only first part) - also one of the best. Cyberpunk, techno, simple cool.

Then SuperStardust - the tunnel levels were like from future. Game itself wasnt for me of big fun.

WormsDC - top as well.

Then after were SuperFrog and Brain The Lion, but they were a bit too for childs, Lion Heart was in comprassion for more adults and just looks more "real".

Then Slamtilt Pinball, Walker, Kid Chaos, etc, and then cd32 and big games like , Microcosm, or big games like Napalm, Earth2140, OpenTTD, Nightlong, etc.

From Megadrive era i like SonicTheheadgehog3, comix zone, mortal kombat (of course), aladdin, etc, rtc.

On Snes : double dragon

Hmm, well I can think of 2 games, Dune 2 and Colonization. But there are probably also a bunch of other games I played a lot.

As of Amiga NG games:

Sauerbraten on AROS totally blew my mind but the enemies of this fast FPS killed me so fast that I didn't play it very often. Free Droid was more my type of game.

On my old Pegasos1 I used to play Duke Nukem from the start to the end. I tried Tales of Tamar for some time, but ran into a lot of troubles.

I tried Eternal Lands on AROS for some time, but this MMRPG was to slow to get my real attention.

No single game stands out. I played a healthy amount of many Amiga games:
- Pinball games (Dreams, Fantasies, Illusions)
- Racing games (Lotus series, Skidmarks, Super Cars)
- RTS (Dune II, Syndicate)
- Flight sims
- Golf games
- Wings, Worms, Flashback, Cannon Fodder, SWIV, Superfrog, Galaga, Simulcra, Valhalla and the Lord of Infinity, and Alien Breed games.

But if I had to think of a game or series of games that might have spilled over into the unhealthy amount, it would have to be the Lemmings games.
