Happy National Chocolate Chip Cookie Day, C= and Ami aficionados!

The Fresno Commodore User Group has its next meeting from 11 a.m. to 2:30+ p.m., Sunday, August 11, at

Panera Bread Restaurant
3590 W. Shaw Ave. (corner of W. Shaw Ave. and Marty Ave.)
Fresno, CA 93711
(559) 271-0104
http://www.dickestel.com/meet_loc.htm

Note that our meeting is set for the second Sunday of this month instead of the usual third Sunday.

For discussion, we'll talk about my meeting Francois Leveille of Montreal, Quebec, Canada, and his products, TOLB, GandALF, and Behr-Bonz. We'll also talk about Ray Carlsen and about filming Commodore presentations.

In C64 software, we'll try out SNK vs CAPCOM (update 2), Mars Patrol, Drip 2, Random PAC, and more. In VIC-20 software, it's Tesla Frogger and Emu's Massive Hunt, and the games on the Behr-Bonz cartridge.

On the Amiga side, we'll play around with the A600GS, the new, classic Amiga-compatible games system/computer, running the AmiBench desktop environment and including such software as Personal Paint V7.4, OctaMED V8, Directory Opus V4, Final Writer V7, Thunderhell, and Virtual GP.

Writing from Las Vegas,
Robert Bernardo
