To change colors write in console: color x x
For example color 1 1 will use color 1 (i suppose white) for both legs and armor. _________________ ikir |

Well I've just spent a couple of hours 'playing' in there. I've taken a break for something to eat and now I can't face going back - my nerves are gone!

Just now there were 5 players. So it isn't down; I suspect you or your ISP have a firewall that prevents using port 27500. _________________ : AmigaOneXE (unmod.) 750FX/512 MB +stuff & AmigaOS 4.(0|1) : A1200/68060&96MB/SCSI/EM1200-Voodoo3 & OS 3.5 : A500/1MB : Pegasos (ff) 512 MB & MorphOS Praise seitan. |

I am on a modem so have not seriously considered joining even if I had the game but I was curious about my pingtime to the server: time=375.45 ms
I could actually keep up with some of you.

Had an most enjoyable game few hours back, will propably got back there soon
It is nice to see familiar nicks there, should we agree some 'AW color set' too?

Which colour numbers give the dark blue? glquake doesn't display the colours correctly in the multiplayer menu. _________________ : AmigaOneXE (unmod.) 750FX/512 MB +stuff & AmigaOS 4.(0|1) : A1200/68060&96MB/SCSI/EM1200-Voodoo3 & OS 3.5 : A500/1MB : Pegasos (ff) 512 MB & MorphOS Praise seitan. |

If you read earlier in the thread you would see i had the same problem and i am connected thru a linksys router.
To get round my problem i used qgui and altered a copy to use qw instead of the normal quake exe.
I only use the address without the "27500" also. Last edited by cap on 09-Jan-2005 at 10:25 PM.

Don't know about the color numbers, there is no setup screen for this in QuakeWorld. I only set them in console with command "color x y" (x= shirt, y=trousers).
I know "color 1 1" means all white costume - anyone here has the rest of color codes?

No problems with skins here, I could see you all too clear
And as for the killing...I was more than happy to return the favour
It was great to have so many players, the action got really hectic from time to time

| The colchart is here: http://home.xnet.com/~efflandt/pub/qc.html
Did someone ask about QW console commands? Anyway, http://www.planetquake.com/console/commands/quakeworld_client.html has those, albeit without index, but just search in the browser. Some are platform specific (read: Windows).
@grumpyoldman
There is no menu for setting the colours in OS4 QW? Although I downloaded the 68k edition, I've been using 68k glqwcl now... I don't want to use 320 wide screen. _________________ : AmigaOneXE (unmod.) 750FX/512 MB +stuff & AmigaOS 4.(0|1) : A1200/68060&96MB/SCSI/EM1200-Voodoo3 & OS 3.5 : A500/1MB : Pegasos (ff) 512 MB & MorphOS Praise seitan. |
