Yep, did enjoy putting names to faces yesterday. Good to see OS4, and I like the idea that the OS installer actually boots to a version of OS4 to install from!

Hi folks, I just got home a couple of hours ago, (I stayed over in Enfield last night to split the driving over a couple of days)

I've got it all on tape, there were two video cameras there, one mine, and the other I've forgotton the name of who it was who gave it to me, that's the trouble with all these strange names we give ourselves on here Who were you, please remind me so I can put a credit on the video when it's done.

Anyways, the plan now is to merge the two bits of footage together so that it all makes sense. This will take a few days to get done, work will progress during the rest of this week, hopefully I can get it all done by next weekend at the latest.

Once it's done, I'll put the video online on my website for free download.

I don't think there will be enough footage from this show to justify a DVD, so what might be an idea is to wait until the show at Newcastle later this month, then I'll put the results of that on-line, and perhaps put the ANT and Newcastle events on one DVD. Does that sound OK to everyone ?

Perhaps if the pre - release is about to ship .. You could include in the demo ..a fresh install on a clean hard drive (mine), And AmigaOne Productions and I could film it and burn to dvd an instructional cd. Sort of .. what pitfalls to watch for, How to setup Dual boot, etc ?

The Hall I'm thinking of is pretty large (Stafford Hall) next to a shopping centre so good Parking, Excellent Chinese takeaway ..Booze etc . Sounds like heaven.

This hall is only a VERY short walk from my home so I could easily bring over most of my setup ... That includes my 21" Monitor and the Rotel house HiFi amp & Akai speakers !!

Is Alan available ... ? The Friedens .. ?

Yeah, sounds like a plan, putting together a tutorial video sounds like an excellent idea to me, once we know where and when I'll make sure that I'll be there.

If it's a Saturday or Sunday, count me it.

As for the video from this weekend, I'm working on that this week, I'll do the entire presentation, and put it on the website later this week or weekend at the latest.

One thing to bear in mind about filming is that we should be using an LCD monitor, CRT monitors flicker like buggery on film ! I can bring a 17" LCD monitor if required.

Good point .. I completely forgot about that !! My 21" is crt, so it would suffer that fate.

Also .. The meet would be on a Saturday.. from around 13:00 to 16:00 ..

Don't know where DaveW is based .. But I've got a Yamaha Djx keyboard I could bring along for him to demo his Audio Evolution with.

What Ideas do other people think would be cool to do ?
