| I'd say they(Tulip) hit a homerun on that, except that new company has some groundbraking ideas up their sleeves... |

| How good for Tulip. _________________ AmigaOS or MorphOS on x86 would sell orders of magnitude more than the current, hardware-intensive solutions. And they'd go faster.-- D.Haynie

| They did release an MP3 player but it was just some relatively cheap crap sold under diffrent names.
I really cant see how the Commodore brand can be worth 24 mill. Euroes.
@Nicholas
I doubt Jeri could design that, guess most documentation on the chipsets are lost and they would also need to license the Amiga name (which Should cost them $millions:) Last edited by Troels on 28-Dec-2004 at 11:07 PM.

| IMO the Commodore brandname is the greatest asset here. I also believe that "Amiga" is a valuable and most excellent brandname. IMO don't listen to what competitors may claim otherwise.
Also the IBM brandname was the most important aspect why a Chinese company bought IBM's PC unit in a 1.75 *billion* USD deal. (China has a much cheaper yet competent workforce and everyone can build PC clones) |
