OK, Anyone attending this conference, can you please ask Hyperion about the current legal situation and also about the OS4 on SAM? (Where the project is, if its still going to happen etc)

Also... OS4 on Mac mini etc etc...

And also possibly write a report?

Cheers, Alex.

What is this I hear about modern web browser? Does that mean we can enjoy all the web browsing benefits on AOS 4.0 as we do with Mac and Windows? If so, are there plans to have one for classic Amiga too?

This is awesome I just want some hardware plz!!

seems that Hyperion is holding to their contract with regards to releasing Os4.1

the write up on their web site is very interesting they mention features that would make
the porting Firefox and open office easier.

Better not count on it...
Recall some old post from Alan Redwood (Called OS4-Earlybird status or similar, too tired to dig it up now, posteda link to it a while ago on the forum)
Anyway, it was along the lines "All OS 4.0 updates are free, from OS 4.1 and beyond it might change to update-fee or similar).

So, be prepared to pay for it, on the good side you get a new cd, my own original OS4-cd is quite obsolete these days, recon that is the same for most of us.

I am just speculating here, should it be free for A1-owners, would it be a nice bonus.

Alan Redhouse is a fly-by-night who took money from the community and left us in a mess!

By the way, will 4.1 be demoed on obsolete AmigaOne hardware or brand new Sam440 hardware?

@Darth_X

To his defence, he did deliver some hardware at least.
Since he left, there has been none (with a license).

hello,

- on the announcement, said: industry standard and Acube made SAM for industry. maybe link ???

- on the announcement: box and pricing by Acube announced soon. I think IMHO a normal price for new users and an update price for existing users.

Remember that AOS team need also money and AOS4.1 IMHO must be with updated price or new price IMHO.

- Radeon Rxx could be added on AONE or microAONE ????

too bad for me on AONE hardware (with 1ghz as processor for a bug smile, for linux and MAC emulated-up-to-date browser use only).

in another hand, a new amiga with no fan and a picoPSU (for the silent) is also verry interesting.

don't know what thinking for the best (but this is a regulr story for me, for the futur)
