| I intend to come. What hardware will there be on show? Is there any schedule or plan?
BTW: Is $950 AUD a good price for SAM Flex 800mhz in a case with 80GIG SATA Harddrive and SATA DVD-RW, 1GB RAM and Radeon 9250 Video card? Last edited by BigBentheAussie on 03-Dec-2009 at 01:31 PM. Last edited by BigBentheAussie on 03-Dec-2009 at 01:28 PM.

| Sounds like the going rate (ie what you'd pay for a complete system from Amigakit, including shipping) from memory. Wish I had a grand to splash out and get me a new SAM Flex system. |

What the hell, sounds good. _________________ It's not the question that's the problem, it's the problem that's the question.

Sounds like the guy that was selling his on Ebay recently?
If it is, welcome to the meeting.
Maybe I exchange the pegasos with you, and add some cash on top??
JUst one question,
Why sell it when youve already got it?
Just tell your wife that it is impossible to sell at the moment, as there are more windows users. hahahahhaha.
Seriously though, tell her Ive got it already, had sold my pegasos system to get this instead, what is your problem you 1000 dollar dress spender??
THis s assuming your the ebay guy, haha.
cheers
and cant wait to meet you.
P.S. Bring your amiga systems dude, any you like using.
For this end of yeay meeting, I usually always bring a minimum of two types of Amiga related systems.
FOr this one, probably bring my Amiga SAM440EP, Peg 1 MorphOS2.1, and maybe even my cd32 console with SX1 expansion, running a 2GB CF card(soon) Mmmmm, what about the AROS machine I hear you say, not sure yet. Last edited by Gebrochen on 04-Dec-2009 at 12:02 AM.

| I'll try to make it. Its about a 2 hour trip by public transport (I dont drive), so I may not be able to, but I'll try. It's been years (maybe a decade) since Ive been to one of these things. Ive got a small pc case I could probably get my AROS machine into for the journey if people would be interested in seeing how AROS runs on a a fully supported modernish spec machine running native (core2duo clocked@3.9ghz/2gig ram/radeonx550/sblive/etc). |

I live in Ballarat these days. My (possible) plan was to catch a V/Line train into Spencer Street Station (or Southern Cross I think its called these days), and then catch a train to the nearest station to the event. Id like to bring my AROS machine, but Id be relying on a kind soul to let me borrow a monitor, as while I can put my aros machine into a small case and put it in a bag I can carry, adding a monitor to the equation makes its tricky This all depends on me having my weekend free to attend (likely, but I wont know until later in the week). |

I bring my A1. And probably my A4000D as well just to have a real Amiga at the meeting.
Would have liked to bring my C16 and the Christmas Tree demo I wrote one year but it won't "boot" up anymore. Last edited by Hypex on 04-Dec-2009 at 03:01 PM.

Really? AFAIK it hasn't been here long! I've only seen it on a current affair show.
You make it sound like it's well established like a Myers or something.Last edited by Hypex on 04-Dec-2009 at 03:02 PM.

Shades! Have you been wearing your sunglasses at night? Nice to meet you.
Are you talking about the OS4 Roadshow?
Technically that wasn't Amiga so that leaves Canberra '99. Where we partied like it was 1999, almost. |
