| Nice to see Alan present his vision to a audience of that kind. Something else than the "usual" Amiga meetings (though they are important aswell _________________

| Judging from the size of the bag, it looks like a CD32 mainboard or possibly MicroA1/Teron mini (why don't you simply name it AmigaOne mini, Alan ) |

| Nice to see Alan Redhouse talking to such a large and important crowd. He always seems to have a very straightforward, down-to-earth and honest approach to things, so I'm pretty sure he got the message across. I hope he has the success he deserves.

Actually if you look at pics 3 & 4 You'll see that it was really a Karoke competition, not a conference at all. The Triffid was a disguised water pistol for squirting hecklers.

IMO that is the best possible use for a VIAO - useless piece of fish (~anagram). Good job I took a backup of the presentation in PDF format on a flash stick.

| @Alan:
This is very exciting news. I remember you talking about going to China to talk about using the A1 as a smaller, faster yet lower power consumption server than is currently available. This was before the SARS scare.
Was this meeting **THAT** meeting or a follow on meeting? Either way it sounds like a great opportunity for Eyetech and the Amiga!

| China's Dragon CPU is currently running at around 260 Mhz. Most modern OSes wouldn't do well running with such specifications, but I believe AmigaOS could manage pretty well.
Maybe a good AmigaOS4 demo running with a 233 Mhz Cyberstorm PPC could raise a few Chinese eyebrows. |
